Now, now, my simple child, do not be troubled. Just as other clergy, we, the High Priests of Fishing Arts, must also prostrate our holiness amoungst the profane. Yes, catching the Devil's fish with the Devil's food is wrong, but rest assured I would gather no pleasure from such beastly pastimes. Rather, I would submit to it only to better understand those poor tormented souls who stand alone in the darkness fondling impaled serpents. How else can I help them and turn them from their deviance back to the Holy Path of St. Pinchney before they and their cellphones are doomed? Besides, I have it on Flap's good authority that fishing bait for sharks is far superior to bunging prepubescent altar boys which, frankly, seems to have become more trouble than it is worth for us holier than thou types. Now go away and step on a LEGO.

T+C is a blast. some of the best snorkeling in the world, and you can reach the coral reefs simply by wading out from shore as the reef circles the islands. oh and btw, plenty of sharks there. we went out on a boat one day for some snorkeling and as soon as we got in the water someone saw what they estimated to be a 12-14ft hammerhead...

eelskimmer 07-17-2008 11:39 AM

Good to see youse...

Tony,
Good to see youse are up and about your old tricks. Its
been awhile since we saw your beatific face on this site
and some were wondering if the world was coming to an
end. BTW, nice fish head what happened to the rest of it--
some shark bit it off. Oh yeah I forgot.

redlite 07-17-2008 08:34 PM

Now that he's out fishin the shark tourney, he probably won't get a nibble on the bluefish------

steve 07-18-2008 05:15 AM

Where did that happen. No spot burn, just for safty sake. I've been hearing and seeing more about sharks in local waters than ever before. On the water even had a show on surf sharking, but wouldn't give up location(s).

steve 07-18-2008 05:17 AM

Never mind , I know where it is.

fcap60 07-18-2008 12:49 PM

Thanks for the photo Tony:

...now I'm done wading for the season. :rotflmao:

If you've really been to T & C, please explain this simple way of reaching the coral reefs??? :laugha:

What you see while circling the island from a boat is actually a little different from the island side perspective. When I talked about surf/fishing with the captain that took me out, he laughed his :bshake: off. He said, "you not reachin da fish from shore man, lesson you swim out far and get swallowed by da shocks".

I mentioned some of the spots that I've fished back home, he just smiled and gave me a tour of the reef areas............................................. ..and I was humbled.

bloocrab 07-19-2008 09:35 AM

I have a good guess, but I too....am curious on which city this water shores into.

Mr. Sandman 07-19-2008 10:17 AM

That is why I don't skish esp out my way.

it was simple. we stayed at Beaches. walked down the beach 200 yards to the left. swam out 50 yards. snorkled said reef for hrs....

In The Surf 07-19-2008 02:07 PM

We're gonna need a bigger rock :hidin:

Yeah, that's what I meant, I don't remember seeing a REEF that you could "wade" to, ....swim to? - yes,, ....but I don't think you could safely surf-fish those reefs even if you did skish out to them.... The drop-offs from them reefs are extreme causing incredible swells at times, from 3' of water to 300' :eek5:...can you say FISH MAGNETS?

Goose 07-19-2008 05:00 PM

T your a crazy bass-tid, live lining bass. next time put a second hook in behind the dorsal will ya.

ProfessorM 07-19-2008 07:41 PM

Miller 07-19-2008 10:53 PM

stars'nstripers 07-20-2008 11:43 AM

Fish On 07-20-2008 10:42 PM

Tony good to see you back where you belong. How's the back?

Polar Express 07-21-2008 03:38 PM

I'll stick to my boat.

BillM 07-23-2008 04:35 PM

Just as a matter of principal I'd use the head as bait and try to catch the bugger.
I'm guessing it was up around the Cape, correct?

stripercrazy 07-23-2008 06:04 PM

wow

CanarsieSpecial 07-24-2008 06:47 PM
