He apoligized, thats good, I'm done. Takes guts to apologize to people ya dont even know.

JohnR 02-22-2003 08:05 AM

SSY / FWW - I did suspend the account for now. It kinda played itself out last night.

SSX - thanks for appologizing. Let's move on (again) and not need to see this anymore.

Striper SniperX 02-22-2003 08:20 AM

all i can say is- anyone who wasn't within the bunch of people in here last night, probably wont understand how all of this happened and be "on" me for no reason-

so, people who haven't yet read these crazy threads- read them CAREFULLY before ya attack, please :D

i'm going to do a forum search on herring----okay

JohnR 02-22-2003 08:34 AM

Actually, for those that weren't here last night you can probably figure it out. But we don't want a repeat on this....

SSX - check the library too. Get the book called Striped Bass, by Nick Karas (the later edition the better) and you'll see scientific info on the fish, the forage, the spawns, the history, and even some fishing tips.

That's the bible for the fish, not the fishing but definitly for the fish

fishweewee 02-22-2003 08:56 AM

SSX-

Please PM me your addy to me again (sorry)...SSY got it but he can't access his pm's!

-WW

JohnR 02-22-2003 09:02 AM

FWW / SSY / SOB - go ahead and grab the PMs...

fishweewee 02-22-2003 09:08 AM

Thanks John - all done.

StripinLine 02-22-2003 10:13 AM

Hey Striper Sniper X..

SSX,

I read the stuff in the forums here.

I was 16 at one time and very smart, and wanted to know all the things worth knowing, and asked the people that knew the things I wanted to know. And Why Cant I get the information I want/Need NOW. So I can move on and get more information about some thing else. I wanted to know now..And oh man that is a funny story, BUT it did not give me the thing I want. And WHY CANT SOME ONE TELL/GIVE ME NOW..

Chill Little brother,

Information is good,
Experience is the key..

When I was just 18 years old I got into the cabin of my first truck(semi rig) and knew it all. I had all the information there was to know. I lived in a farming community in Glen Morre, Pa. and I could drive these things. By the time I was 18 I had 50000 miles of dancing those things all over eastern Pa. and NJ , MD ...

First time I went west with 45000lbs of rolled steel , I knew it all. But the mtn's of eastern Pa have nothing on the rockies.

Time I got down, I had one blown tire two brakes on fire, all brakes smoking,
three chains loose, one chain missing.
I was lucky I made it down alive. But I knew how to do this I had the information .. I had no Experience.

Experience is one key for life.

But the first keys are:

Respect
Restraint
Responsibility

I know the tr#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g story has little to do with fishing. And I should have PM'd
mabye.

I will fish with you this spring, if you want....

regards/ al

shore manic 02-22-2003 10:23 AM

well done

stripinline' i'm sure he's a good kid a little green yet.like you said we knew it all then too. hell i'm 47 and still haven't figured out the world according to ed(me). that must have been one wild ride.glad ya made it!!!

Striper SniperX 02-22-2003 10:25 AM

SL,
i understand and i appreciate you not attacking. :D

i was wrong for what i said to BM for not answering me

but i wasn't wrong for asking "herring imatatiing baits"

i know experience is the key----and i just asked what baits act like herring..

i know i talk to much on here, and i'm on here too much, asking too much, being 'rude' sometimes and other stuff..

i hope i have the chance to fish with most of you this season, i'm not really a bad kid ya know....don't let my online mistakes fool ya :D

i know i got to slow down :(

Mike

(p.s. SnL- that story about the truck falling apart must of sucked, my dad drives a truck (not a semi, like a mini semi) and he had his breaks fail going down a hill in NH.......scary!!)

StripinLine 02-22-2003 10:27 AM

the smell of fear

All I wanted when I got down was clean shorts and a box of those pinetree things you hang on the rearview..

/ al

StripinLine 02-22-2003 10:30 AM

Hey Striper Sniper X..

oh well???

Striper SniperX 02-22-2003 10:33 AM

Hey-
i learned this in drivers ed:
ya know in some states they have a 'truck escape ramp' at the bottom of big hills to slow down runaway trucks........that would of been usefull in that situation, huh stripnline?? LOL :D

speaking of drivers ed, i finished my 33 hour course and got a "90" on the whole course :D
