No surprise.
Why do we get involved? Who are we to say that one species is more important than another? For millions of years, nature has been left to its own devices with species coming and going, as only the strong survive. Plovers aren't like Bengal Tigers or Pandas that are at risk because humans came in and Effed up their world. Plovers choose the most exposed areas to nest, lay only 1-2 eggs and are horribly territorial and particular with where they nest. Leave them alone. |
