Went to the show today.
Show is down compared to past years. A handful of vendors I planned to see were not there (CMS, Daiwa,Dexter knife company to name a few)
Saw and spoke with with plenty, seemed everyone I talked to worried about this economy and not spending $

Dexter was there. I dont think i have seen them in the past.

CMS is getting ready for a big sale next weekend, thats why they didn't go.

I just checked the Hab's site and they are showing product available. They may have to update what's out of stock after this weekend, but there should be some stuff for ya.

Great time at the show this weekend. Working at a booth is not as easy as it seems, lots of respect that do it for a living! Good to see some familiar faces, and meet some new ones. And I finally got a sticker :love:

Can't say I blame Jr, at all. Last year he had tons of inventory hanging on the walls on Sunday afternoon. It's a business... He should sell everything he can at every show he goes to. If he sets aside a quarter of his needles to sell at RISAA and they don't all sell, he's shooting himself in the foot. And he did make the Stixx specifically for RISAA (which are pretty sweet might I add).

He said that he'd have larger needles ready in a couple of weeks... They should be available soon.

Stickers?!!! I didn't get no sticker! Seriously, good to see you again John and good to have met Raider Ronnie.

I don't blame him for anything, I was just saying I was disappointed. him and his friends and fam that work the booth there are really nice people. How can anybody get mad at them?
But seriously, do you think his needles wouldn't sell at RISSA? I'm just saying, if it were me, I would have evened it out for each show.

They did a heck of a job marketing this event. I got a little card advertising the show with a $1 off coupon in the mail yesterday.:smash: I also got a message from a friend who got it yesterday, as well. Whoever is in charge of sending those out dropped the ball a little bit.

Haus I hear ya. I didn't mean to make it sound like you blamed him, I know what you meant. I thought the same thing last year- I figured he would be all sold out (which explains why I was there early on Friday and booked it to get in line- plug ho'age)... But he had tons of stock left at the end of the show. Guess it's just tough to predict what will sell any given year.

Sorry I missed you Mike. It was a killer weekend for me. I left the show Saturday night went to eat with Terry from Wolverine and got home at 10:15 pushed the clock ahead to 11:15 took a shower got 2 hours sleep and drove to Asbury Park:smash:

Yeah, your son was telling me that you left for NJ at 6AM or something like that.

I didn't make it this year. Broke and working my arse off with little to show. I need to get it together before the fish get here:smash:
