Love it... We need to fish the canal together in June to seriously test these new plugs...

piemma 12-03-2012 05:18 PM

Think I'm going to build some HUGE needles in BI Neon. 12 to 14". Tail sink so they stay up in the bubble weed on the Block.

Mojo7 12-03-2012 09:54 PM

Are we picking any style plug to build or does it have to be lipless?

My thought also. Any style.

Rowhunter 12-04-2012 07:48 AM

"Plug Challenge". I was thinking the challenge was lipless swimmer, then any style of lipless swimmer you wanted. I'm in, I'll get started soon, working on a new design.

Sgt Striper 12-04-2012 08:29 AM

Sorry, I confused everyone. :smash: I meant any style lipless but we can go with "any style you choose" if that works for everyone?

Mojo7 12-04-2012 05:34 PM

Lipless swimmer is fine with me I've been wanting to try one for a while, it'll be my first time but thanks to ProfM I'm well on my way. Though I'm sure I may have some questions along the way.

timmah 12-04-2012 09:31 PM

2 Attachment(s)
I got the bodies done, weighted and sanded, Just need to drill, seal and make perty now. :biglaugh:

On a side note: John Habs JR. was a graphic design intern with me for about a year and he gave me some of the wood his dad had left behind in the shop. I thought that an SB swap was the perfect way to utilize this nice mahogany.

Darters about 6 inches and will weigh 3.5 to 4+oz. Made for heavy current.

Sgt Striper 12-06-2012 10:42 PM

From my earlier post: "Last year we did 2 plugs at the last minute and had the auction for Bill and Jules. Maybe do the same this year for a worthy cause!"

http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...tml#post973026

What do you think guys?

I'll start the thread on the main page: "Plugswap 13 MacoJoe Benefit Auction"
Post your plug when you are ready, ship to the winner of auction after whoever is collecting the funds receives it.

Use the above mentioned thread to post your plug!!

rayndogg 12-07-2012 08:14 PM

sounds good to me. ill see what i got hanging around. i am in between
computers so i will have to get pic posted when i have the pic and my daughters computer. hopefully by end of weekend.

Rene

iamskippy 12-07-2012 08:36 PM

Just post your plug in the same thread with a description and picture. It worked good last year when we did the same thing. I will manage the auctions.

Sgt Striper 12-07-2012 09:05 PM
