Texas judge rules coverage of anti-HIV medicine violates religious freedom
The ruling from U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor partially resolves a lawsuit brought by Braidwood Management Inc., a Christian for-profit corporation owned by Republican mega-donor Steven Hotze that employs about 70 people. Hotze claimed that forcing his company to cover pre-exposure prophylaxis drugs, more commonly known as PrEP, under the Affordable Care Act would make the company “facilitate and encourage homosexual behavior.” https://www.kut.org/politics/2022-09...igious-freedom yep freedom for me not for thee :btu: |

Lindsey Graham took a flamethrower to every carefully crafted Republican narrative designed to fool voters about their intentions on abortion. The American people can now see very clearly what they intend to do.

Between row, the continued denial of the election results, you would think smart republicans wouldn’t give democrats more reasons to turn out to vote, but in Plymouth this MAGA nut adds to our incentive with a new banner every other week.

The "thugs and tyrants" attacking the MAGA movement have awakened a "sleeping giant," former President Donald Trump told his Save America rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Saturday night, stumping for J.D. Vance, Rep. Jim Jordan, Max Miller, and others.
So now Trump is quoting our enemies from WW2 Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, who planned the attack on Pearl Harbor Such leadership |

still hard to believe that someone who stole and tried to sell or possibly even sold out nations most sensitive nuclear secrets, secrets so sensitive even the top keepers of our nuclear secrets were not given access...is still running around making speeches and has not been arrested :bl: |

Overtly embracing QAnon's conspiracy theories, former US President Donald Trump reposted an image of himself wearing a Q lapel pin overlaid with the words “the storm is coming.” Yep nothing to see or be concerned with |
Republicans in key battleground races refuse to say they will accept results
Of the 19 GOP candidates questioned by The Washington Post, a dozen declined to answer or refused to commit. Democrats all said they would respect the results. Herschel Walker is telling voters, ‘I’m not that smart’ I’m a country boy,” the former football player said. “I’m not that smart. He’s a preacher. [Warnock] is smart and wears these nice suits. So, he is going to show up and embarrass me at the debate Oct. 14, and I’m just waiting to show up and I will do my best.” Seem he also knows anyone voting for Him ain’t that smart either:btu: |
It's official: The Republican Party's top two 2024 Presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, are now under criminal investigation.

Or why This trend doesn’t seem to be fading. Polls routinely show that about 60 to 70 percent of Republicans say they think or suspect that Joe Biden wasn’t legitimately elected president. But you won’t Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
Couple months ago, I was sure the GOP would pick up 50 house seats and probably not pick up the Senate. Now it looks like they'll win maybe a single-digit number of house seats and are more likely to win the senate than I thought, but not much of a red wave no matter how you slice it.
Americans think the democrats aren't the right folks for the job, and don't think the GOP are the ones to take over. In a rational world, both parties would go back to the drawing board and re-think things. But nope. Louder shrieking and more radical extremists on both sides. |
