These are some Cape Cod factory made Gibbs....
this particular group has a special mojo.... I sometimes feel that they are just on loan to me.....

Aw Bigfish, don't cry, we still got a few more up our sleaves you know. You don't think I would quit and just walk away from this.
I am getting close to the end but I have a few special plugs to show. Tonight some Marble Goo-Goo's! Now I have to get ready to go to the RISSA show. CAN'T WASTE FREE TICKETS!:D

I wasn't worried guys, just tryin' to "scare" a little motivation into you! It was just slowing a bit, the thread was dropping down the forum list like the sun setting after a beautiful day that you don't want to see come to an end!:)

BigFish 03-07-2004 04:39 PM

Vineyardblues...a sticky is when they put the Thread permanently at the top of the forum.....see how it says "sticky" in front of it?:smash:

flap, have any of the tiny 3" needles al made? i found a shop last year that had a bunch. they looked to "cute" i had to buy them.

Flaptail 03-07-2004 08:24 PM

I went to the RISSA show today. My pic for best new plug was the new Gibbs color called Herring, Wait to you guys see it.
When you see that on a needlefish you will meltdown, It's that good. And a danny like that can only be lethal,

Saw some little Tatoo swimmers in yellow and pogie that I just have to get ! The Tattoo darters were awesome as well, I just cannot get those little swimmers out of my mind that Joe Lyons had that Tattoo made.

Salty had his Dannys and they were sweet but that new electric needlefish was way coooool. That sideways Danny swimmer was the bones, Scott, if you screw up again like that call me I want it!

Habs selection of needles was outstanding and the idea of the medium Danny with only one belly and the tail hook is really going to make a big difference. The eel needle I was given for my collection is gonna be too tempting and it will get fished and I know just the time and place. Always a pleasure talking to John, he is a super guy.

Saw John R. walk by while I was chatting at the Gibbs booth with Chalie Cinto and Dennis Ryan. Charlie has some great stories.

Anyway it was a good show for RISSA's freshmen effort and can only get better. Now I am looking forward to the MSBA show so I can get the hooks from Salty that I left with forgetting to buy!
