Like your new Trophy!

I was going to get one in the spring I had not made up my mind over the I/O or Outboard version.

Then last fall I got a good deal on a HydraSport 212

I can not wait to use it more, so far I am happy with it, but I have only used it about 6 times in the ocean.

Sweet Dutch, how about some vital stats? Length, beam, power? How roomy is the cuddy? Looks like a great boat in fowl weather. About how much does it go for new?

I have a 2000 Cobia 220WA. Great for running offshore for cod as well as just offshore and up river for stripers and running with the family.

Whaler

My brother and I just picked up a 1965 17' Whaler off the original owner. Boat is in fairly decent shape but definitely needs some work. It's running a 90 Mariner which allows this boat to run fast.

I'll post a pic soon and then some updated ones as our work begins on her. Will most likely work more on it this season than run her.

I have a 72' 13' whaler... they dont build em like that anymore, enjoy it!

Boats

Hi all
I have an 84 Wellcraft 24.8 sportsman cuddy walk-around with 220 Yamaha o/b. Nice size boat with largest cuddy I ever seen for that size boat. Anyone else have one?

I bought this '71 Mako From Basic Patrick.
Notice how he took the "Ba" out of basic and made me promise not to call her basic boat!
I just got the merc running and tuned, and hope to get her in the water real soon.
This winter I will- Replace floor, replace console, replace/repair bow rail, add leaning post, and probably more.

How about a plug (no pun intended) for the tin boat guys. Just finished paying for two college educations, one more to go. Hope to have my dream boat in 4 years.

In the meantime my son and I have a blast fishing the Westport River in our tin boat. The most fuel we use is 2.5 gallons. We have been able to catch our share of keepers.

Dreaming of the day we can fish Cuttyhunk!
