I agree with all the candy!

But no one mentioned Beef Jerky!

Good to chew on!

Moose Nuckle 04-16-2004 04:52 PM

I agree the coffee should be there with your rod and reel.
Breakfast is Black ice coffee with sugar. Two bagels with cream cheese.

Lunch is cold pizza or a raost beef sub.

Night time is chicken, steak tips, sausages peppers and onions all cooked on the grill. Some Capt. Morgans to wash it down with.

Mr. Sandman 04-16-2004 05:55 PM

Sardines and onions, and a beer.

Bazza 04-16-2004 08:27 PM

Coffee followed by more coffee. Dunkin Donuts bagel sandwich and water

Who has time to eat while fishing??? However, the official snack food of the CT Surfcasters has always been a large Snickers bar purchased at the all night Mobil at Dunns Corner. The official drink used to be Cappio but they don't make that anymore so Mountain Dew has taken its place. Sugar and caffiene MMmmmm

usually i stop in at the grinder shop the day before and get something with no mayo... while fishing.. it's black tea no sugar and peppered jerky strips... and of course for me my pack of smokes... when i get back to the truck if the grinder ain't smelling.. then i chow.. if it's stinking it gets tossed in the barrel... ain't nothing like having 2 bowls of oatmeal in the morning with 2 cups of coffee to rush out to the water put the waders on and get out there for 15 min's before rushing back to shore trying to remember where that porta-potty was... lmao...

jim24 04-17-2004 04:59 PM

Really like cheddar cheese gold fish......they taste good and once they get all wet, thread them with a worm hook.....resemble mackrel....but don't last very long

marky1 04-17-2004 09:08 PM

1.) A bunch of Slim Jims..the looong ones
2.) A couple of Butterfingers
3.) Bottled H2o...not too much, have to limit the "PeePee" dancing while trying to fish.
