YEAH JOHN my adress;)

Ok heres a hunting story that doesn't count. A few years back I bagged a fairly large doe and my buddy was helping me skin it outside in my garage. As he was pulling on the fur I was using my knife to help it along. Just then my neighbors kid a young lad around 10 decided to investigate. As he peered in his mouth dropped and his eyes got big as saucers! He ran out screaming the words I'll never forget " Dad!Dad! Hide Max they eat dogs next door!" Well it took us about ten minutes to pick ourselves from the floor just in time to see my neighbors jump into the car to leave for the day!

hey, i witnessed seawolf's "catch of the year".
does that count for a story??? i bet you'll be more carefull cleaning off your plugs! it must have been the parrot needle you were using that night. it sure was a hot lure!:laughs: :jester: |
Quint, it might be a tick late for the story getting you extra pluggage, but we welcome any opportunity for you to embarass a fellow angler :hihi:
|
that's fine. just wanted to get a shot in!
|
yeah, jester, that parrot needle was hot. but, that white one was better the week before, remember?
yeah, i'll be more careful, next time. i'll ask my mate to clear of the gear for me! maybe next i'll also bring that latern. it's hard fishing in the dark... |

This is a little story about a friend of ours.. One night early last fall a group of guys went out on a great adventure in search of the great striped ones. Earlier trips had produced little success. On this day the gods would smile, for they had now entered into the land of Red. At first the searchers had very disapointed and worried faces from bluefish scattered on the beach caught by a few fisherman who had been"slamming them all night".
the distraught faces as the cigar butts started to pile up in the foam as the waves tried to reach the driest sand. Then it happened..... someone caught a striped one!!! And then another one. this one was worth a pic and a measure, and then another pic and measure. This continued for a couple of hours, and this night was deemed by all a great success. John this story is all yours for spending all that valuable time on the beach taking pictures and witnessing measurements unselfishly. NOW WILL YOU PUT YOUR NAME ON THE GD LIST!!!! THANKS |
Red - That's OK, I get one or two perks & benies for running the site - it's OK not to include myself in this
But on the note of that wonderful story, this year I'm not going to get sucked into taking all of those Kodak Moments. I'll be fishing steel line from the beach so Clammer can't snip my line when I have a nice fish running and I'll be requiring people to purchase a Scale Cam (patent pending) to take their own dang picture when they weigh the fish. That way I can keep my line in the water... http://striped-bass.com/images/scale_cam.gif |
