Zac -

I'll be in CCB all day tomorrow giving it my best. Work has kept me on land recently and it appears I've been missing out. My boat, a 23 Parker, is called Scotch N Water. If you think of it or want to share some info hail me. My cell number is 508-304-3922.

Matt

On last weeks OTW report...

"An 80-pound bluefin was taken with a Fly Rod 5 miles east of the Isle of Shoals."

That must have been a hoot!

Clammer, what can I say  :bl:

Today was the best fishing experience I have ever had in my life. Seriously, you can have alaskan halibut& salmon.. those Tuna ruined me. I loved ever second of it, but i know the next bass i catch wont be the same..

Note to self- do not use Abu garcia 6500 on BFT.. :hihi: too slow a retireve and not enough line capacity.

VS-200 on a 7 foot ugly stick = ...... hubba hubba :smokin:

oh and that tail hooked tuna was a bastid.. i thought i hooked a moped going down a hill :D
Man i wish i cought one on my danny :hee:

thanks agian clammer, i will never forget today as long as I live. & sorry i started to putter out twards the end.. donuts & coke for breakfast plus no lunch makes eben run out of steam & turn into a zombi after 3:00

oh.... we caught a bloofish too in the mix :yak5:

Them schollies are pissa on 20-30 lb tackle i had one 50# on a inshore trip here.what a fight. we had some live mullet an would chum em up wit spearing when they where in the slick the mullet where impoyed nothin like whatchin them torpedo's zoom thru the water to take the mullet.Eben gonna wish he had his reel back after the toast's the 200 .

Mr. Sandman 08-13-2005 09:47 AM

NIB,

I was wondering if chumming would hold them in tight to the boat...did they stick around?

Bill L 08-13-2005 11:50 AM

Got my first SBFT this morning :smokin: Three of us hooked six, landed two, kept one at 34 inches, not sure of the weight. And didnt even need a van staal to do it :bl:

Its not the reel, its the line capacity. ;)

hook one in the tail and watch how quickly your spool disapears :hihi:

Pete_G 08-13-2005 11:49 PM

Use any smaller spin reel on enough of these fish and it will die, it's just a matter of when. My VS100 is off to Tulsa...

It has handled a LOT of hardtails though.
