So the work is 93.946% done - but they can't say anything...

Don't you just hate a punchlist? Hope it's not just the legal eagles padding the billing hours:huh: Whazzup? Is this Tuesday?

or Wednesday?:D

Guys and Gals,

Yes we are trying to tease up some excitement about the new facility....

No we are not screwing with you by not releasing the formal announcement....Lawyers, Insurance Companies, Sponsors all must ber completed before the Press Release...The legal stuff is done, MSBA has a firm committed deal for the Show...bottom line is that the 2006 MSBA Sport Fishijng EXPO will be held in Foxborough MA on March 25th & 26th. A formal Press release is being scheduled for next week

Sorry if anyone got frustrated with this process...I can tell you that if this years show is a succesws, then we will probably have found a home and will set a firm date for the future, hopefully a few weeks earlier

anyway watcdh for next week's press release

Are your Ready for the EXPO?????

Flaptail 01-14-2006 11:48 AM

Patrick, as usual you have outdone yourself! Great work, MSBA is lucky to have you in it's ranks!! Kudos to you and the board.:jump: :btu: :btu: :btu:

Someone's grumpy. I'll have to send him a plug.:uhuh:

BasicPatrick 01-14-2006 10:47 PM

CS,

Keeping the show in the Plymouth area was not an option. Over 47 locations were investigated and the fact is that there was not a facility to hold a 100 booth show that was financially viable.

When we moved from Braintree to the Plymouth area we really left our North Shore patrons behind. The central location of Foxborough is the sam drive from the North and south and Boston Metro areas.

Backbeach Jake 01-15-2006 08:14 AM

Thanks MSBA and Patrick, I think that's a most pissa venue. ( The wife's gonna miss the shopping tho) Capesams, I don't think that the new spot will add all that much to the journey. I think the drive time is about the same from my area.

capesams 01-15-2006 08:39 AM

guy's,,,don't worry about me, I'm just a fly chitt in a pound of ground pepper.......it's not the how far..it's the :sled: in which I chose to make my living with..it hate;s the highway and my wife won't drive it an I won't leave her stranded without a car.Bumming/borrowing ride's isn't in my programing.

MAC 01-15-2006 08:41 AM

Just disconnest the speedo on Jr's jeep and drive that.:boots:

Karl F 01-15-2006 11:03 AM

IF, I go CS, I'll let ya know, you are welcome to ride with me, and don't feel that's bummin' anything... :).. would be My Pleasure...
I'll even vacuam the beach sand and dog hair out of the truck :hihi:

About a half hour longer ride, (one way), at that venue, for us, but, it's do-able.

RIJIMMY 01-15-2006 12:50 PM

Nice, 10 minutes from home!

ragfly 01-16-2006 01:04 AM

You guys stop complaining about driving. I come down from Maine every year and it is always worth the trip, even at $2.40 a gallon.
