We had the "spygate"
They have the "Trip-gate"
Which one is more notable, and more public (like on national TV)?

The one that cost a team half a million in fines, a first round pick, and cast doubt on the legitimacy of 3 SB championships in the eyes of people who aren't NE fans.

But we are NE fans so we don't give a crap.

:yawn:old news:rollem: Guess they will have to win three more to shut up those doubters up

Which is exactly why, with the extra scrutiny on the team to abide by the ambiguous NFL rules, Patriot fans can truly enjoy seeing them smash the so called legitimate teams. Particularly the past two weeks. Where are they cheating this year??????

He was out of bounds in the opposition's sidelines when he was tripped. His intent was to avoid being blocked when attempting to tackle the receiver. The coaches were lined up to prevent this. One knucklehead thought it would be a good idea to trip him. That was wrong. He risked injury to the player and was not a player himself.
I think a rule change is in order here to prevent this:
Any player running out of bounds at any time during any play is an ineligible player for the remainder of that play. Period. The game is played in bounds, not in and out.

The dude nailed him with his thigh in the thigh that friggin hurt. And he said it was intentional. Regardless of his location on the field it was intentional by the coach, he has been suspended as a result.

That what makes him a knucklehead, he coulda said he was braceing for impact. He did show a little relative honesty in admitting his act. The problem IMHO is a rule problem in that a player can leave the field and return to play.
