Congrats Dave... enjoy the moment and the memory. Don't second guess the release - someone that fishes as hard and smart as you will get another chance or two.

The other sock is missing because its what pushed the fish over 50. Just kidding, obviously. Great catch Dave.

Nice one :fishin:

Mass fish?
What was in that belly?

Canalman 05-28-2012 09:25 AM

Nebe & Josh you guys are hilarious!!

Motox there were two mostly digested fish, looked like scup or bunker and it looked like some small squid pieces too, but everything was very well digested, the fish were just bones.

Awesome stuff Dave, congrats! Tell us the story (or write it up for the fishermen) either way love to hear it...

Canalman 05-30-2012 03:58 PM

I was kind of holding off on that because I, I don't know, I guess I don't want to make a big show out of it

Maybe I'll get the itch tonight and put it down on paper.

I throw plugs all the time, but when the situation calls for eels... guess who's getting a hook stuck through their head? :uhuh:
