God I love topwater but darters and needles catch more and bigger :( Its a sad truth :) I'm ok with it though :)

Its hard to pick just one "go to" plug for the entire season, however I prefer the Sluggo. If the Sluggo isn't considered a plug then I would say a pencil popper or a Super Strike "heavy" Bullet.

Needlefish or any large surface swimming plug.

Hairaiser or a castmaster gets em' almost anywhere. Favorite plug to fish would have to be any Pikie type lure:for sheer slo-mo takes. Nothing like being elevated and watch a big bass come up and suck one in.
