Small world,,,, for sure John
I was about the same distance from Stuttgart, Crailsheim. Late 60s
before that I was stuck in Georgia with waiting for orders, spent a month and a half on KP, nearly cracked! :-)

Mike, I just had to go to the gym, work out for like three hours, and take a really long shower with Lava soap to feel clean again.

Thanks for the post, now I really feel better (and very clean).

JK,
(except for the gym part, that was true).
Rick

Trying to start a CSA road trip. Maybe the date and location should be a Sticky on top as this is now buried 3 pages back and we want a good turn out.

steve1874 12-31-2014 07:22 AM

I'm in. I might have a few things to bring to raffle as well. Also I got fishing books to trade if anyone is interested in that. I've already reread them this year

JohnR 12-31-2014 07:59 AM

Stuck ;)

piemma 01-03-2015 12:24 PM

Please start logging in who's bringing what for food. I have a spreadsheet going and it's pretty sparse.

piemma 01-03-2015 12:27 PM

Got Stripes Chips and bean dip
Piemma 3 cheese cakes, 3 dozen rolls and a case of water.
Bob-5/0 Striper choda
Guppy a couple of dishes
Eelskimmer Ham steaks and pineapple

RickBomba 01-04-2015 04:28 PM

I will bring the catering supplies...chafing dishes, untesils, sternos, maybe some plates and plastic silverware, too.

I have to stock back up this year on the hotel pans and sternos, so those set me back a bunch every three years.

Necker1 01-05-2015 09:31 AM

Seafood Chowder

Hookedagain 01-05-2015 06:29 PM

I will do a large tin of baked ziti with venison burger.

Gup, I didn't realize you were doing a whole knee replacement. You will not be moving much for a few weeks.
I got some decent news on mine yesterday, Grade 2 MCL tear which will heal and a torn medial meniscus. We need to wait and see if they scope me on that.

Take care of the knee and don't worry about the food. We'll be OK. The guys usually step up late.

JohnR 01-15-2015 08:47 AM

We'll send an ambulance over Gupp

Bringing Sheppard's Pies :musc:
