Weakens the dollar
Take most of it back at the last minute
Don’t worry lots of American businesses are still going bankrupt from the China tariffs
Recouped some of the losses he was responsible for
People rejoice because it could’ve been much worse, only lost a few trillion in the market and the rest of the world is trying to not have to deal with him.
He literally claims other leaders want to kiss his ass.
China is trying to figure out the best way to replace the dollar and who will join them.
So the situation we’re in is after nine years of missed legal opportunities by others to kill him politically, the victim attempted suicide by tariff and failed.
He’s announced that he’ll try again in 90 days.

We all ready for Trump’s get rich scheme week two? Insider trading went as planed week one, he got a nice shower over the weekend, so let’s see what the fun this week has for us as he makes America weaker again, while enriching his rich biddies. So prices are going up (not down as promised) and small companies might not make it and if you think American companies aren’t going to take advantage of an opportunity to raise prices the public will just expect, you don’t remember what they did during and after covid.

Yup. The scheme seems to be to crash the value of the dollar. Stock values and home values will go up as the dollar looses its power… problem is everything else goes up too. Soon everyone will be a millionaire ;)

With Trumps latest rant about Powell, I suspect the beginning of the upcoming week will be more of the same, hopefully not a big downward spiral. This president is a child and now that he plans to use the IRS to punish his enemies, the circus is just expanding.

Worst dow April performance since 1932, what a winning tariff war the economic genius is running. Only Trump who knows more about everything could tank not only our economy, but the global economy as well.

The hard core MAGA cult members and that unfortunately includes all the spineless republicans in both houses, will never admit their guy shouldn’t be in the White House.
Hopefully the more centrist republicans and independents have had enough of his bull #^&#^&#^&#^& and the trashing of our constitution and our economy and will pressure their house members.
He has also trashed our reputation around the world and made our country less safe. That is apparent with the chaos in the department of defense and fda cuts eliminated safeguards for the food we rely on.
I am really concerned for the country this clown is going to leave my kids and my grandchildren.
For years I have avoided political commentary on facebook, but this administration needs to be called out for what it is.
As an independent I vote for qualified people and the orange clown and his cabinet of yes men and women aren’t even close to qualified.

Can you just imagine if a democratic president tanked the market and then left for the weekend to collect god knows how much money from the Saudi’s and LIV golf. He and Musk don’t even try to hide the grift, it is right out in the open, as they know all the republicans in both houses have lost their spines and moral compass. At least Tesla is tanking so bad maybe Musk will be gone, but the damage will take years to repair, assuming our Republic survives.

Seems the new plan is to grant what they are calling targeted tariff exemptions. Which is code for taking care of donors. Or industries.
To limit sticker shock .for us consumers…. Or basically Bait and switch.

On a sidenote, I thought oil plummeted to under $60 a barrel but I haven’t seen a reduction at the pump at home. It’s like 268 to 280 and on my drive to Hilton head North Carolina South Carolina many places is three dollars a gallon.. which surprise me ! Its always been $.20 cheaper down south
