What a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive.

Denial is the first step!

RIROCKHOUND 11-25-2004 08:59 AM

John, we'll bring a sherpa and rappeling gear for that spot we talked about yesterday... The true meaning of fishing away from the crowd :D
Happy T-Day

and Eben aka Parachute Jig... how was that tog?

piemma 11-25-2004 11:03 AM

I see that the tide of anti-Eben, AKA, The Wireman, has not subsided. You guys are all jealous. There is a lot of skill involved in dragging wire with parachute jigs. Especially without a boat.

tasted great, but it was a bit rubbery. You know, around here, we call them blackfish.

spence 11-25-2004 11:32 AM

You didn't take the skin off didn't you :smash:

-spence

Nebe 11-25-2004 11:42 AM

yep... took off the skin, and baked the filet on a bed of finely chopped onions. came out a tad chewey

spence 11-25-2004 11:44 AM

That's because it's blackfish...and why I don't like dat fishy.

cheferson 11-25-2004 11:54 AM

Blackfish is killer fried up with some tartar sauce. I noticed if you gut the fish and let it sit for a day before fileting , its not as chewy.

Hmmmm...:smokin:...I think I've got it figured out finally.

My diagnosis is the early stages of Winter Bass Separation Anxiety, commonly known as Fishing Pox.

The old fisherman's remedy of a little whiskey with lemon juice will probably help a little.

Not too heavy on the lemon juice, though....

Nebe 11-25-2004 09:58 PM

Winter- the time in every bass fisherman's life where he mends broken relationships, and does all the work he's put off till now
