Look back at the original post that started this thread and you will see this basis of the Liberal platform in America today: misunderstood. misintrepreted facts that degenerate to the true "I hate Bush Agenda". As bad as he may be he is better than anything they have had to offer (according to the electoral process).

I am sorry but this has been going on for the last 230yrs. and it goes like this rich white men tring to not pay there taxes and making the poor and middle class pay it all for them. or we would have health care and money to retire on they take take and then take some more. supporting anyone who is as arrogant as Bush is just wrong to me. and he smiles while he is sticking it in the behind of all of us. believe me if he could he would have us all pay for his war and we will be for years to come.

This is the fact. 80% of all income tax is paid by 20% of the population. That 20% are those "rich" people you apparently detest. Dont beleive it? Google it.

I don't detest anyone, I think we should all pay the same tax rate, it is a fact that we pay more of our weekly check than they do, if I have to pay over a third of my pay check then they should to. guess what they don't.

Kerry's problem wasn't a lack of substance, it was an inability to counter all the slime being thrown from the GOP. I know many Conservative Bush voters who thought Kerry probably would have made a very competent President.

You want to solve "class warfare"when it comes to income tax? Institute a flat tax rate.

10% of nothing is nothing.10% of a 1 million is a 1 hundredthousand.Everybody is on a level playing field and no one can point fingers.

Regardless of what you feel and/or believe if you argue against a flat tax rate you have an agenda.

Works for me. I've always like the idea of a flat tax. No matter how much or little you make you are taxed the same. Its fair and you dont get penalized for being succesful. Plus is will force the government to spend our money wisely. And yes that includes W :hee:

The reason so many people like the fixed tax rate is because they are all on the bottom of the toetem pole. If you all were making that 150-200 thousand per year,you'll like it just the way it is. I'm retired with a fixed income, and pay just like the rest.

More tax info....State & local taxes hit poor & middle class far harder than wealthy
