Almost took one out last weekend. Well he would have taken me out. At the end of the year last year we saw so many on the trails it got to the point were the novelty wore off. We got backed down a few times as well as drove right by them.

that method definitely works,,,,,,,,,,,
careful with the ones that are bigger than you

My favorite pic from this summer, my 3 kids fishing at an UDL in the White mountains, I had to explain to the 5 year old why it is not wise to cast his Mepps cross current with his brother just down stream.

Saltheart 02-03-2009 04:08 PM

I remember that rod Jenn. Who would have guessed that purple green gold and black would all go together so well.

If its a real nice bass I'll bungee it to the rack in the back or throw it over my shoulder and have a nice slow peddle back to the car. (I release most of my fish, I don't keep many)

keeperreaper 02-06-2009 12:25 PM

He usually throws 'em in my pimp canal whip and I transport them for him. God knows I dont catch sheet down there.:lama:

Nice pic Bob. I really miss that place. Maybe I'll take the kids out there to feed the seals this summer. I know they'll (kids) appreciate the seals.
