I will bring the catering supplies...chafing dishes, untesils, sternos, maybe some plates and plastic silverware, too.

I have to stock back up this year on the hotel pans and sternos, so those set me back a bunch every three years.

Gup, I didn't realize you were doing a whole knee replacement. You will not be moving much for a few weeks.
I got some decent news on mine yesterday, Grade 2 MCL tear which will heal and a torn medial meniscus. We need to wait and see if they scope me on that.

Take care of the knee and don't worry about the food. We'll be OK. The guys usually step up late.

JohnR 01-15-2015 08:47 AM

We'll send an ambulance over Gupp

Bringing Sheppard's Pies :musc:

Thanks Man!! On the list

RickBomba 01-30-2015 02:52 PM

OK, here's my rant.

We need more people with stuff.

Right now, it looks like we need:

We need softdrinks, water
Salads (potato, green, coleslaw)
Couple more entrees
Desserts

If everybody could bring one small thing, we have a feast.

My arm is getting a little better, so I think I'll be ok by the time we meet next month.

I also am bringing my buddy Scott Kershaw, who used to cook with me back in the day, to help in the kitchen.

He made a surprise appearance at the FABBIT the year it was in Hubbardston, so this is his first SB event since.

RickBomba 01-31-2015 07:20 PM

Just booked my room at the Seaport Inn. Bad news for Mr. Pollack...if my roommate (Scott) decides that he can't make it, you can have his bed.

See everybody soon!

RickBomba 02-08-2015 03:17 PM

I edited my list of stuff that we need. I found enough plates, utensils, and napkins to cover us for the event.

We're still looking for desserts, salads, and soft drinks.

I can bring down a cooler for some of the drinks (it's 70 qts). We may need one more.

Thanks,
Rick

I booked that whole block of rooms that year, and if anybody was going to be black balled, it would be me.

They are fine with us staying there....just no more gym access.

tynan19 02-12-2015 07:33 PM

Damn, need access to treadmill!

If the swimming pool is still there then you can do some laps.
I recall times going directly from the car thru the side door to the pool.

Nah, I stopped doing that the year the fire alarm went off twice.

I got a room with the AAA rate for $80.

They only used to take $5 a piece off for blocking off the rooms.
