Off topic, but inspired by John R's posting....... if there are any S-B events scheduled for this winter, I play in jazz quartet, we get pretty good $ for playing all types of events but I can talk the other guys into volunteering for an S-B event. I'm not sure if this is a jazz crowd, but we provide good background music to dinner, etc. I would love an opportunity to kick something back to this site. (this auction is out of my leauge)
just to keep in mind for the future....
here's our site: www.eaststreetjazz.com

Question.... if the deadline is 5:00pm then a post with 5:00 is technically past the deadline..really you want the last post with a 4:59pm postime.

JohnR 12-15-2003 05:43 PM

Nahhhh - last post with 5:00 PM - seeing that we are not time scynched here... Same rules - last post with 5:00PM in the time stamp :D

6 minutes difference between my PC and the Forum time...

Mr. Sandman 12-15-2003 05:46 PM

OK shooting for a 5:00:57 post then
timesync 4:46

JohnR 12-15-2003 05:50 PM

Actually - I think it will be a crap shoot but I have changed the minimum time between posts from 20 seconds to 2 seconds. This way people want get the dreaded "The System Administrator has limited....." blah blah blah....
