No, but after talkin with redcrbbr last night sounds like my game to. Everybody's got there own style of fishin but theres alot of hackers and guy's with first time luck, I learn something every tim i go

bloocrab 02-16-2002 10:32 PM

.....For years I fished Primarily alone. I hated the fact of depending on people and missing out, when they bailed out on me....or made me late for my tide. As much as I miss fishing alone, (which I still do of course...;) tough to find someone who loves this chit as much as I do, but they do exist as I've come to learn on these sites)...the experiences and knowledge and diversity I've learned from others has been well worth it.

...As far as striper1 and a logo.......nothings come to mind yet. Any ideas?.....

bloocrab 02-16-2002 10:38 PM

No matter how many times I get together with people from the internet.....ITS ALWAYS FREAKY!!!.....:D

....How did you feel going to Red's house?....:D wasn't it weird???...

Goose 02-16-2002 10:42 PM

Yup, I'm the same way. For years my wife didn't understand how someone could be out there for hours ,''Doin what she'd say'' she still does. lol She's actually happy for me when I tell her Im going with someone else.

Most of the guy's I do fish with are on a ball and chain, they can only break away so many times. As long as I got my health I
know I'll be out there hopin for that big bite!!!!!!

Goose 02-16-2002 10:45 PM

I didn't go to his house.,,,, he came here....lol I told him i would do some rod work for him....I said come on by.... yes I know what you mean though lol funny poop.... Almost like I'm cheatin on my wife

The Princess's Problem

Once upon a time there lived a king.
The king had a beautiful daughter,
the princess.

But there was a problem.
Everything the princess touched would melt.
No matter what;
metal,
wood,
stone,
anything she touched would melt.
Because of this, men were afraid of her.
Nobody would dare marry her.
The king despaired.
What could he do to help his daughter?
He consulted his wizards and magicians.
One wizard told the king,
"If your daughter touches one thing
that does not melt in her hands,
she will be cured."

The king was overjoyed and came up with a plan.

The next day,
he held a competition.
Any man that could bring his daughter an
object that would not melt would marry her
and inherit the king's wealth.
Three young princes took up the challenge.

The first prince brought a sword of the finest steel.

But alas,
once the princess touched it,
it melted.
The prince went away sadly.

.........................................
The second prince brought diamonds.

He thought diamonds are the hardest substance
in the world and would not melt.
But alas,
once the princess touched them,
they melted.
He too was sent away disappointed.

..........................................

The third prince approached.
He told the princess,
"Put your hand in my pocket and feel what
is in there."
The princess did as she was told,
though she turned red.

She felt something hard.
She held it in her hand.

And it did not melt!!!

The king was overjoyed.
Everybody in the kingdom was overjoyed.
And the third prince married the princess
and they both lived happily ever after.

Question:

What was in the prince's pants?

(Scroll down for the answer)

M&M's of course.
They melt in your mouth, not in your hand.

What were you thinking you pervert?

bloocrab 02-17-2002 12:42 AM

I just found out what a "HAB" event was.......:smash:

All this time, I thought it was when JHabs was turning wood...

HAB event.....Harmful Algae Bloom...a.k.a "RED TIDE"...:(

Harmful algal bloom events regularly threaten human health and marine mammals, contaminate local fish and shellfish, and depress coastal tourist and recreational industries. They can produce toxins and create large dense "blooms" of cells, such as the Florida red tide. Others can threaten human health even when they are not visible in the water, such as Pfiesteria piscicida, the organism that has been associated with fish kills and potential human health effects in Maryland and North Carolina waters.

sunday a repeat of today?????? YEAH BABYY^!!!!!! JR all the way!!!!

Jenn 02-17-2002 12:44 AM

oh yeah....100 here we come!!!

bloocrab 02-17-2002 12:46 AM

Natural events, as well as human activities, appear to contribute to this increase. Storm runoff and the flow of coastal currents have helped HABs to spread along the New England coast and the coast of Florida. Excess nutrients in agriculture runoff have been linked to the growth of Pfiesteria and other HABs.

Jenn 02-17-2002 12:47 AM

eh...sorry about this afternoon Bloo....I read where you kept posting and were lonely!!!!!
