I didn't forget i owe everybody plugs set online.

I used my swap plugs as guinea pigs for a new clear coat :hidin:, so as you may imagine, I don't have the applcation process down yet :tm: soooo... they don't look perfect but they do look pretty good, The applicator I chose left some fuzzies in the finish so... you'll have to deal :laughs:

How's everyone making out?

I'm having a helluva time finding hard maple.... it seems I bought all the hard maple in souther RI :hihi: so I'm going to get some AYC tomorw and make some of my swimmahs tomorrow night.... should be done in a few days/. :lasso:

just dice up an old butcher block counter, that's what I do. I won't buy 8/4 maple anymore :D

Slip, what does 8/4 maple mean???? on the other site Metallip mentioned that Beachmaster swimmers are made out of 3/4 pine. what does this mean??? :huh:

Not good. I must admit to having a full plate of late and I don't even have hem in sealer yet.....was planning on sealing Monday.....plugs won't be done for another 2 weeks at my pace. Sorry....if you want to move ahead without me I won't be mad....its my own fault. I got those small plugs done but I wanted to finish these plugs for the swap. They will be worth the wait.....let me know what you decide. :smash:

Bigfish, if you use minwax wood hardner, you can paint them the next day if you leave them in a well ventilated warm area.. I actually paint my plugs the same day that i seal them, but I have a unique way of cheating :D

I am on BFL's time schedule also.I still have a few more days on the bait pen.then I can have my garage back. Plugs been sittin for a while now....absolutely swamped with work.As the season is getting under way here.AAAAAAAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
