show us one that peeled. or whatever problem your having.
ether your waiting too long to topcoat. not scuff sanding in between coats. mixing incompatable paints. dirty hands.{that will cause fisheyes mostly. some rattle cans have fish eye iliminator in them and nothing will stick on top of them. enamel will stay soft, so when you put tha hard epoxy over it it will do some wierd stuff. you gotta make sure it all "melts" together into one coat. not just one coat on top of another. |

gonfishintalk was away when the thread went up and he was hoping to get in on it if possible. What do you guys think? I know it was supposed to be around 20 total but many of us make extras anyway so it's no big deal to me. If the consnsus is that it's OK , then I will add his name and change the total # of plugs. thanks |
Welcome, gonfishintalk! :bl: Spinnin' it, Boss! I'm spinnin' it here! :spin:
|
Sounds good to me. Oh and Ed, a bug is a lobstah :spin: :usd:

GFT is ok with me! :btu:
|
GFT & NIB sure. it is a super swap..

:D cool that was fast got pics? |

That being said , I get the impression that this swap is different than most and that if there are firm and fast rules to these 'slow swaps' maybe they could be bent for this one . Dan |
I don't care the more people in the more plugs for us all. I will say this though I ain't making more than 100. You will know mine they are the ones with the dandruff problem. :bl: Hell by the end of this swap I should either be an expert or ready to hang it up. The pressure mounts. P.
|
NIB, are you in on this too?
if so it would be an even 2 dozen :eyes: |
Bruce, you're going to have to convince NIB. I've tried already.
|
Just say the #, the more the better I say..
. . . and P, my sentiments exactly :hihi: |
C'mon in NIB, I won't dowel ya.. :eek5:

these are proto's ... top and bottom are the real thing plastic weigh 1.8 ounces.. The yellow/silver with silly cat eyes is white pine and will weigh 2 ounces.. The other 2 are hard maple and will weigh 3 ounces,, trying one of them set up more like a darter .. I'll test swim all three and make what I think is the best ,,. unless anybody has any preferrence... I'm really liking the yellow with silver scale ,nevr did that before .. 1 question .. am I suppose to be making one for Nib ?

Tagger if NIB doesn't post a confirm in the Next 5 minutes. It's Ok to send me the plug(s) you intended to send to him
|
I just quit my job and sent my girlfriend to Venezuela for the winter, next I'm going to start logging a forest in Alaska. I bought Createx, the company and I'm working on making my own wire, grommets and Hooks. I bought one of those programmable lathes and set it on 10,000 plugs. I'm certain I'll be done by my 71st B-Day. :bl:
How many are we making now????????? The plug I am making takes a LONG time... can we keep it under 30?????? |

tagger, I think they need to be light to swim right, I could be wrong. The one with the cat eyes looks fine. I made mine out of red cedar and they work well, just not very heavy so they don't cast real far but then again they are not needles or poppers anyway.
