Isn't it weird that when we think of our memories, the ones that first come to mind are the painful ones?
It seems that you could have 100 good things happen to you and 1 bad, and the bad one is the one that stands out. I think it boils down to human nature and the will to survive. Think about it: Wh can vividly remember a negative event, probably so that we can try and prevent it from happening again, where as the positive ones are pushed to the "back of the pack" so that we can dwell in the happiness of having it happen again. Isn't human nature a funny thing? Raven, I hope you and your family (Star too!) will enjoy MANY MORE positive memeories from this point on. Heck, you've already exceeded your "negative" allotment for the next dacade or two. |
