It was truly nefarious of the Democrats to get elected and then force Trump to try to subvert the transfer of power so they could investigate him for it.
If the president or Congress had the power to magically reduce the price of gasoline by $1/gal, then I'd agree they should do that first and then return to the January 6 investigation. In reality, gas prices are determined by a global market, not by governmental fiat (thank God). The last time that was done, it was by a guy who gave arms and god knows what else to raise the price of oil. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

if potus could wave a magic wand and reduce gas prices to $1, i don’t believe he’d do it. they need these gas prices to make regular americans even consider renewable energy. They need this to expedite the “incredible evolution” Biden says we’re in the middle of. Regardless, after two years of liberalism, everybody sees that everybody’s life is astronomically harder and more expensive, and americans will vote accordingly in a few months. You blamed Trump very specifically for covid, because it happened on his watch. Fine. Now it’s your turn to be on the receiving end of that logic. How’s it feel? Good or bad? I remember when gas was cheap.
We were locked down and couldn’t go anywhere. None of us had jobs or paychecks, 500,000 died, our leader at that time mused about injecting bleach to stop a virus. Same guy that wanted to date his daughter. If ain’t perfect yet, just better. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

He asked about possibly using bleach, because bleach is one of rhe things that kills the virus. He didn’t tell people to drink bleach, he just wondered if there was a way for scientists to figure out how to use it effectively. We treat cancer very frequently with radiation. Back before it was common, I wonder how you’d have reacted if someone ( especially a republican) suggested that people stricken with cancer, could be cured by injecting radioactive material i to their bodies. Speaking of which, your guy explicitly said we’re gonna cure cancer if he won. Well, he won. How’s that promise going? oh and here’s a king tracking has prices. For a couple years before 2020, king before covid had any effect, average price was around $2.50 a gallon. So it’s not all covid fault that gas is now $5. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/Le...TE_NUS_DPG&f=W Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

Trump Asks Saudi Arabia to Pump More Oil, Citing High Prices 2018 Trump told Saudi: Cut oil supply or lose U.S. military support - Aug 2020 In an April 2 phone call, Trump told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that unless the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) started cutting oil production, Oil Nations, Prodded by Trump, Reach Deal to Slash Production 2020 Oil-producing nations on Sunday agreed to the largest production cut ever negotiated, in an unprecedented coordinated effort by Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United States to stabilize oil prices and, indirectly, global financial markets. Jim who actually reduced global production ! Trump not Biden not democrats Trump along with. Other oil producers made this agreement That they have been more that willing to stick to.. But keep believing in your fantasy that been hostile (in words alone because you can’t name a single oil restriction this administration has imposed on the oil companies And don’t mention keystone it wasn’t even being built under Trump As the reasons they won’t pump more oil. And they are private companies they pump what they want. There is no government control in oil production or pricing. By this Administration. Not so for the last one. They couldn’t make up their minds pump or don’t pump Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

American production is down. That means we’re producing less than we were before. You blamed trump for covid, and we all know you blamed bush for the subprime mortgage crisis. So you believe a president is responsible for the bad stuff that happens on his watch. Fine. Now it’s your turn to be in the receiving end of that logic. Whats good for the goose and all. I’ve said many times ( not enough for you to grasp it, but everyone else does) the soaring prices aren’t all Bidens fault. But they happened on his watch, so they’re his problem. you don’t think Trump was any more pro fossil fuel than Biden? They are equal in that regard? that’s what you’re saying? nobody believes that nonsense. His energy secretary hates oil. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

Just typical propaganda Louder when you’re called out Facts matter: Average domestic oil production under President Biden is now HIGHER than under Trump or any past president. Republicans who say gas prices are high because Biden somehow shut down American energy production are just plain LYING. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

when prices started soaring, a reporter asked the energy secretary if the US would start increasing production to increase supply, to reduce cost. She started cracking up. She thought it was a funny question. Not a serious question. You’re denying that Trump is more pro fossil fuel than Biden? that’s what you’re saying too? that’ll work. stick with that. I’m really looking forward to it. You? watch the stock market this week, especially if the Fed increases rates by more than a half point, which 8.6% inflation suggests they do. Mortgage rates could easily be approaching double digits by november, which would send housing prices crashing. What happened to our economy the last time housing prices crashed? A meaningful recession is 99% likely. Before covid, our economy was roaring. Under Bidens watch, it’s in serious trouble. It’s not all his fault, but it’s all his problem. He’s not competent to fix it, and we all see that. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

The group of oil-producing nations known as OPEC Plus agreed on Thursday to a larger increase in supply than planned for July and August. The White House hailed the higher output as a diplomatic breakthrough after months of lobbying Middle East oil giants to raise production to ease price pressures
But but Biden the reason gas is up! It comical to see conservatives twist actual facts. Another example Ron DeSantis, recently tapped one of his allies in the Florida House to become the new secretary of state. The new elections chief, Cord Byrd, when asked, he has refused to say Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
The tumult of war and climate breakdown has proved lucrative for the world’s leading oil and gas companies, with financial records showing 28 of the largest producers made close to $100bn in combined profits in just the first three months of 2022.
Buoyed by oil commodity prices that soared following the turmoil caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, major fossil fuel businesses enjoyed a bonanza in the first quarter of the year, making $93.3bn in total profits. Shell made $9.1bn in profit from January to March, almost three times what it made in the same period last year, while Exxon raked in $8.8bn, also a near threefold increase on 2021. Chevron upped its profits to $6.5bn and BP reveled in its highest first-quarter profits in a decade, making $6.2bn. Coterra Energy, a Texas-based firm, had the largest relative windfall of the 28 companies, with a 449% increase in profits on last year, to $818m. The rocketing profits, at a time when inflation has surged in many countries, has prompted several of the companies to return billions of dollars to shareholders via share buybacks and dividends. Fuel prices: Could I save money driving an electric car? There are nearly half a million electric cars in the UK, and rising fuel prices have prompted more people to consider making the switch. The government is banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030, a decade earlier than originally planned. Filling the tank of a 47-litre family hatchback with petrol now costs about £85, or £88 for diesel. Despite recent energy price increases, charging at home to deliver the equivalent mileage typically costs less than half of that - about £41. Electric cars are coming they are just another tool in the tool box Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
