Flaptail 12-09-2004 09:46 PM

Hint. Red Top bought the company from the Shearer Bros. These are parts of the thing they bought and sold under thier name. Biff McArdle used to build them with Bunny.:D

Slipknot 12-09-2004 09:52 PM

Flaptail 12-09-2004 09:53 PM

Here is a Stan Daggett Eelskin Needlefish from 20 years ago.

Slipknot 12-09-2004 10:01 PM

Flaptail 12-09-2004 10:08 PM

The stuff still has not been identified. :)

Flaptail 12-09-2004 10:11 PM

Bruce, sorry I missed that post reply on hook hangers and weights. Your right, they are Cap'n Bill hook hangers and weights.:D

BigFish 12-09-2004 10:12 PM

Tell him what he has won Flap!:bgi: :bgi:

Flaptail 12-09-2004 10:14 PM

Nice Flaptail Flaptail!:D

bassmaster 12-09-2004 10:25 PM

so give him another one

capesams 12-09-2004 10:29 PM

I have stan's eel skin plug's and the captains hook hangers as well as the same lead......did u know I got his bronze/steel jig molds and plugs....eel skin jigs and brass rings..:D

ps....the skin plug now has only one hook...the two hooker is out dated.;)

bassmaster 12-09-2004 10:52 PM

your out dated

Flaptail 12-10-2004 05:23 AM

When I went to visit him he gave me a couple hundred brass rings and a couple pieces of brass pipe that had been turned for rings but not cut yet. Those are all now at a friends house in Falmouth who has all of Stan Kuzias molds for eelskin rigs and jigs. Gonna have a lot of jigs next season from 1/2 to 4 oz.

Flaptail 12-10-2004 05:31 AM

Well now that he has updated them I guess that makes that one all the more desirable. That's cool. I had a few of them ( they were unpainted at the time) that I painted and used and eventually lost. There were two sizes. Stan is a great guy and great fisherman. ( as I recall in my conversations with him he doesn't cotton to beach buggies going over the sand too well);)

Hey Bigfish, I don't have a Bigfish plug yet! ( blatant Ho'ism):p

capesams 12-10-2004 06:05 AM

he got a 38lber on a 3" eel skin fly....those skin plugs work great:happy:

old brass water pipe.

can't beleive he use to cut the lower lips off all the gibbs popper's,,,said they worked much better that way.

bm's a fruit tart.

Flaptail 12-10-2004 08:00 AM

I would like to know all he knows about Bass River, nevermind all the other places we fish. Stan is one of the last of that era still around. Good guy.

BigFish 12-10-2004 08:00 AM

Clean the box out Flap!:smash:

Or no plug for you!

Flaptail 12-10-2004 08:04 AM

oops!

Flaptail 12-10-2004 08:07 AM

BigFish 12-10-2004 08:08 AM

In the pic with the fishmasters, the one that looks like a Cuttyhunk, Is it, or is it a fishmaster? I think that's one of the ones I have seen described as a Cuttyhunk, the pins thru the top is what got me.

Nice Pluggage, Thank You :D

capesams 12-21-2004 08:09 AM
