I'm now down to three tickets; I'll be there with my bro and another friend of ours to start setting up the kitchen. On the cleanup end; I'll probably be on the look out for a couple or five volunteers to straighten up the kitchen after we all eat. Any help would be appreciated. Later, Rick |

I know that this is our first big get-together; anyhow I used to be quite the public speaker back in the day, so I'd love to give an opening monologue...if that's ok with everybody. When I was a kid, fishing for bass was a closely guarded secret. It took a lifetime of scmoozing with guys like Habs and the #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& to get just one of their secrets. Now anybody can post a question, rediculous or not, and have it answered by any number of surf-masters in a matter of seconds. Me personally, I'd just like to say thanks to the database of great fishermen and women on this site. I'd really like to write something to sum up how much appretiation I feel for all the good advice. I'm sure John will be making a statement akin to what I'm trying to redress...but anyhow, if y'all deem it kosher...I'd like to present a little something. Please post responses... Hey Joe - yep send me a check - the address is on the thread in a couple places... I have a bunch of checks in and me & Bloo updated the tickets so I'll print them at work (color laser) and get those out...

It's pn the 15th in Fairhaven Mass. You need to buy tickets from John R. Mr. Laptew will be giving a presentation, there will be music, dancing, and good food. There will also be plenty of fishing talk.
