Those are great pics guys. I have a lot to learn @ boat fishing. Only daytime action I've ever had on plugs where with blues. I have to spend more time working during daylight. |

RI J. . This is the time of year you want to invest in some wood throwing. There were plenty of guys fishing chunks and live and eels and we out fished them all from what I could see and they are coming your way unless Redlite kills them all in the next few days on the way to you |
Mmmmm..............WOOD!

When a loser like Sauerkraut outfishes ya, you can be sure it was the plug. In this case a Rockfish9 surfster outfished my stuff 3:1.....probably it would have been even more if someone with more intelligence than toe-punk had been using it.

LOL. Good for him. He needed it. He was a little bummed when I saw him last week at the canal, especially as Dave was releasing a 30 lber, and he told us he had been all over creation and hadn't had much luck. Was saying to myself today that it would have been a nice day to be out in the boat.

Very slow going, but the few we found were good.
29.5 #, 2.75oz Gibbs clone pencil. Thank you, Stan. |
Nice G. I know exactly where you are. I got a little memory left. I was wondering if you had been getting anything in your neck of the woods lately. Nutin better than getting a fish on top water, especially one that size. I hit the canal this morning before I did some family stuff . Deader than a doornail but a beauty of a morning to be out there and not more than a handful of fisherman out there. Looked like most have given up for the year. Guess I missed the memo.

Super nice fish George! Congrats!

This has turned out to be one of my most productive plugs. Got a bunch of fish in several different types of locations and settings..boat/shore/rocks/sand/day/night.
It's a slimmed down danny style plug that weights about 2.25 oz, casts great, and has a moderate side to side action. It comes in right on top and uses a danny mid slot lip...everyting else is classified:laugha: Had a good fish on it the other night until Redlite cast over my line and %$%$%$%$ed me all up. I was able to capture a fish blowing up on it the other day though...was pretty cool.. |
The ole foul hooked through the nostril trick.
I like that plug.:uhuh: |
Be very careful, fishing Danny plugs is addictive.
