Good detailed report there Linesider.
I made my last shore fishing trip of the season last saturday night ....plugged the inlet for a little while with no hits.....switched over to a dead eel, lit a small fire and waited ....my fishing partner pulled in a baby dogfish....he wasnt pleased at all. Little while later I had a fish on.....decent size bluefish. Cue the fat lady.

I'm taking offers (time, not money ; ) ) if any of y'all want part management of the site .

Everyone always has solutions, but the solution is people need to post and people need to get together. I can't ignore my mortgage & kid's college paying job to do this one ; )

Nice fish!
There were Albies between Weekapaug Point and Quonnie this morning for a couple hours. Never came in close enough to get a shot, but cool all the same. Dead to the east... (sorry, not meant to be a spot burn).

One fish from last night.

Almost not worth uploading it having to send it from my phone to my computer to do it.

Have to be able to cast a certain distance to reach the fish in this spot. Hard to do w/eels.

smaller Bass from last night. Guys I know in the area all (mostly) did better than I. Was really dragging bottom. I think my jig head was too heavy with the moon phase and broke off on the bottom 2x in a place I've never seen anyone snag on the bottom. That is the only thing I can think off (other than they are better than me)?

t_man7 11-10-2021 07:26 PM

Nice Paul, I will see you tomorrow if your out there.

From this past weekend, it was cold at the ramp. Took a little bit for my son to get at it between a 5 am wakeup call and 30 degree air temp, the first pic is of him, half fighting the glare off the water and half being cold despite the layers of gear. 1 hot chocolate changed everything for the better and my first mate was back in the game. My brother Andy, who works for Tesla doing solar roof installs in CT wasn't sure if he'd have to work or not, was able to join us.
