15 shy of 200 pounds for the group. :uhuh:
|
interesting fact i read today
to motivate you it will certainly motivate me for every pound your over weight it equals 8 pounds on your joints i don't get the math but there ya go |
huh??? back to the greenhouse raven! ;)
|
here's a quote
For every pound of body weight you gain, your knees gain three pounds of added stress; for hips, each pound translates into six times the pressure on the joints. With every step you take, your moving body puts pressure roughly equal to three times your weight on your hips and knees. Being only 10 pounds overweight increases the force on the knee by 30-60 pounds with each step. Overweight women have nearly 4 times the risk of knee OA; for overweight men the risk is five times greater. If you lose just 1 pound, you reduce by 4 pounds the force your knees must absorb when you walk. http://www.aboutstryker.com/shoulder...n-surgical.php ~ my green house got destroyed by the last snow storm i couldn't go out there and do anything because my back was completely out so I LOST big time i am presently rebuilding it stronger, a little smaller and much Better. |

196.5 - 1.5 gain - Pulled back muscle last Sunday but rested it up during the week. Felt good on Saturday and was able to run 3 miles without walking breaks for the first time - felt pretty good reaching that goal. :) Thought I did OK eating wise, I guess I just have to get better.
Stopped using Splenda, read it was invented when trying to develop a pestiside - that can't be good for you. I started using Stevia that is natural sweetener and it tasted pretty good! |
