Tagger...I hear you on the muscle weighs more idea...I have been good and going at least 5 days per week and have only lost 7 pounds...I am doing good on the cutting down and eating healthy and do think I am "shifting" some fat to muscle...I would rather be leaning down and am doing mostly cardio at the gym...reisisting the use of supplements and I am not sure aobut them.
|
still at it. lost count now. coming up on 3 months. :musc:
Still on the wellbutrin maybe a pill every 3'rd day or so . or when I start getting pissed off at the world I'll "take a pill dude" maybe up 10 pounds or so but that leveled off. |

It sux ... its maddning .. every waking hour and in your sleep too .. I turned my anger and bad attitude towards the butts and the brown slime that coated my lungs .. It will all go away in time .. Everytime you feel like a butt why don't you :humpty: ????

the desire to kill has lessened a bit today...

My wife's father & brother came to my house last sun for father's day.
My brother in law went out in my yard to have a few smokes. He came back in ans STUNK out my house. :yak5: I wanted to tell him to get the f### out of my house and go stink out your own house, but I don't think that would have gone over good with my wife. |
Bump.
Who else is now a non smoker? Not even a sniff since new years!!! :musc: |
Fell off the wagon, now getting back on.
|
Good luck all, it get's easier trust me
|
can't do it.
switched from a pack of camels a day to rolling my own though. Pack of camels a day was pushing me up to about $240 a month, at least with rolling I'm spending $8 every 5 days or so. can't roll em on the rocks with wet hands either. far too dependent to cut cold turkey. |
I went just shy of 4 months and picked ONE up....bad move..
I'm at 10 days without a smoke now..... anyone else? how about the success stories?? I need strength.... |
i am quitting skoal. sun is the last day - i should be a joy on monday

4 months, GREAT JOB Matt. Just one won't get you back at this point and don't let it. Get to 6 months no matter what! I think that is when you have broken the back of the habit. I quit just over 15 years ago after smoking for 30+years (started when I was 14 or 15). I too sampled 1 or 2 cigs during the first year, boy did they taste good. After a year they taste like s**t and you are starting to hate the smell of a smoker. Not sure how anyone can afford that habit any more. Take your cig money an put in a jar as evidence of how much you are saving. When the jar is full CELEBRATE. |
