It was a priviledge to have known, fished with him, and swapped tales with him. Steve was a hell of a good guy and will always be in my heart.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Steve contributed a lot to this site and to the sport...he will be missed. RIP and condolences to his many friends and family.

Tony C. from Truro called me up here in Rangeley Me. tonight and we talked for over an hour about the day prior to Steves death and the laughs we had at The Red Barn in Eastham over slices of pizza.Also the hikes in Ptwn and Wellfleet with Numbslull.Man............. how the time passes.Steve,you'll always be apart of my heart.:buds:

I just stumbled across this thread this morning and though I did not know Steve, I can feel the void that his loss has created. I know that when we tragically lost club member Al P. last year, we all felt very empty in our hearts. My thoughts are with his family who have lost such a wonderful husband, father and man.
