Ed that predator in rainbow trout is sick. Kinda looks like a wierd alien bug form :hee: Nice stuff

Thanks Salty ... Magna Strike marched to a different beat ,, Everyone was making fishlike baits ,, they made aliens .. I really like that creepy lure ... thanks guys .. Other than darters and predators I don't know if any of these new ones even work ... I just learned yesterday when knocking off plastic to wood you have to make the lip larger to compinsate for weight of wood ... whoops .. new learning curve ..

This darter was spawn in the currents of the Cape Cod Canal . Its Hydro Orientated,, balanced and blue printed.. When I throw my hat in the commercial ring (2015) this will be the top of my line .. Look for it to be sold in a few gas stations in Brockton 2015.. I claim the name "Rip Master Darter"... looked it up, not taken .. Please don't copy me ... thanks . :spam: :spam: :spam:

Ah George old man, I know you are working on something in that mad scientist lab in your basement. How about posting something?

Youve been too quiet and that scares me.

Come clean, I know you got stash.:uhuh:

I can't compete but they should do what they are intended to do.

a few more

Bruce! Wicked nice! You know, I can tell a Slipknot plug anytime, you have a signature tail loop. Gibbs had one, Pond had one too.

I think those slant faced poppers have a date in the "Jenna Rose"!

justplugit 02-02-2007 09:47 PM

Slip, you've been busy. :btu: I like the ones witha a li'l patina look. :hihi:

Please bring that most awesome figured maple needle with ya to the fest again this year. :D
Thanks.

That middle danny looks damn near perfect to me, Slip.

And Flap, I've been busy but have nothing past primer at this point. Got to swim some tomorrow....still alot of weighting issues to work out.......but I think I'm close.....we'll see.

thefishingfreak 02-02-2007 10:45 PM

yep , patina, that's what it is :D

OK, I'll bring the one and only I have that matched the first one I made. Tried to duplicate it, but haven't succeeded quite yet.

Well George, it's close enough. I don't like belly grommets anymore. That danny blank was one of 2 out of 24 that was heavy for some reason, so we'll see how she swims.

Karl F 02-02-2007 10:53 PM

Slip.. how you cutting your lip slots? They are perfect.
And what U using for lips? Making your own?

Slipknot 02-02-2007 10:57 PM

Bandsaw on those
sometimes a handsaw

NJtackle and moores on lips

That yellow pencil is 3-1/2 ounces

Karl F 02-02-2007 11:01 PM

I gotta get a better, (wider blade) bandsaw....

NICE stuff Tagger :kewl:
what kind of wood are those alien plugs anyway? Back when I made them I used red cedar for their lightness and they swam great as long as I was precise with the body profile.
You Have to do some trading with me at the fest OK

Neat shapes, interesting idea on to nose loop, and peerless finishes as usual. Inspiring.

Tagger 02-03-2007 08:52 AM
