How far do you live from your fishing spots

I live 65 miles from my boat. door to door. But I am fishing South County this year after a 4 years away. Sooo I guess it is alright. Although I wish I lived in Charlestown for sure!!!!:ss: driving down that freeway...

BigFish 06-21-2007 07:12 PM

20-40 minutes......depending on which spot is producing! 2 hours from Cape Cod, couple hours from Cutty!

flyben24 06-21-2007 07:18 PM

27 steps down to my boat on the dock. 5-10 mins for surf casting.

110 miles, about an hour 45 minutes. Every Thursday nite to Sunday from April to November. My non fishing friends (or whats left of them) think I have a problem. No problem at all...

Grew up in Hingham, saw Boston Harbor at its worst. I would never take a fish out of that water.

teaser 06-21-2007 09:51 PM

5 minutes to boat ramp, 9 minutes to Cuttyhunk ... 16 minutes to Squiby. About $65.00 in gas!

lurch 06-21-2007 10:47 PM

90 miles to canal, 40 mins to PI and 2.5 hours to outer cape beaches and it F'n SUCKS!

Come on Juniper stock options papa needs a new house near the water!!

moosh 06-21-2007 10:56 PM

I have the fortune to live mid to upper cape ,I have the best of three worlds 10miles to cape cod bay ,3miles to south side , 15mile to buzzards bay .. I truly am a lucky bastard,So no matter which way the wind blows I can still fish from the boat,, it took 44 years to figure out its the little things in life that make it ever so sweet.. moosh

johnny ducketts 06-21-2007 11:32 PM

MrHunters 06-22-2007 06:13 AM

wow, i really admire the dedication of the people 50 miles plus. I didn't realize so many live so far away from their spots of choice...

Im not sure if I'd be lucky enough to have the time if I lived that far away.
