A Sad Day in the S-B Community

Our S-B Club Meeting Hall on Airport Road in Warwick is closed.

A sign on the door stated for Employees and Vendors to call some lawyer for more information  :crying:

Slipknot 06-25-2007 06:25 PM

:( and I never even had a chance to make any of the meetings yet
oh well
I'm sure you can find another meeting hall:gu:

afterhours 06-25-2007 06:26 PM

the horror......:crying:

Raven 06-25-2007 06:32 PM

BigFish 06-25-2007 06:52 PM

Are they going to auction off the girls???:eyes: :eyes:

Clammer 06-25-2007 07:09 PM

WTF

just when ya think things couldn,t get worse ::;

But I did notice the last few times I was at the meeting hall >>>>>>>>>>>>>> that the stock wasn,t what it was or should be :::::bshake: :bshake: :bshake:

Swimmer 06-25-2007 07:31 PM

How about getting some of the girls used clothing articles. You know so we can put them on the flag pole next to the sled parked on the beach. Something orange.

And now that I think about it what were you doing driving so close to the sign on the door you know what it said? Sounds like a one person meeting.........

Saltheart 06-25-2007 08:02 PM

When I heard they closed Hooters I had a Fantasy about a Foxy Lady who was full of Desires for Sportsman accused by their wives of being Cheaters when she behaved like a Satin Doll in the backseat of a Cadillac .

I wonder if we can think of any other girly places around where we could have meetings? :)

It was in the Cape Cod times a few weeks ago that they were in trouble! Same guys own like 17 places or something like that?

They say the Cape will remain open for now.

Clammer 06-25-2007 10:51 PM

Clammer - there was a mild resurgence of talent...

Yeh, same owner for a lot of 'em in New England. I can't understand how you could screw up that operation...

Foxy Lady in New Bedford? I hear there is some sort of "entertainment" there? Or, being it is Summer, perhaps the Mashpee Center for the Performing Arts? :eyes: Its close to many fine fishing spots which are frequented by many here and, from what I am told, they serve some fine chicken wings and the beer is cold!:buds:

zacs 06-26-2007 08:01 AM

NOOOOOOOO000OOOOOOOOO

Such a sad day. Maybe they will re-open out of bankruptcy?

We can't make a strip club like the foxy or kings inn or cheatah or whatever the new meeting hall.

Reasons:
1)You could get away with telling your wife "I am going to hooters"
2)You could get out the door of hooters only spending $20
3)When it was time to leave, we didn't have to search high and low to locate all of our friends
4)music at hooters wasn't so loud you end up horse if you try to have a conversation
5)Imagine if you brought a box of plugs in the door at the strip club!!!???

RIP HOOTERS.

It is a sad day.

JohnR 06-26-2007 08:37 AM

They'll probably reopen... The last time this stuff went down a few months ago there was an attempt for Hooters Corporate to take over the location but I guess it got drawn out in the courts. They'll probably be back...

fishpoopoo 06-26-2007 10:34 AM

i hope so. that place really is an institution.

i went to the hooters website this morning - they took the Warwick location off the store locater map. :(
