4 Leg Tourney - Rhode Island - October 11th
 

OK - coming soon - a reminder - we have the Striped-Bass.com 4 Leg C&R Tourney coming a week from Saturday, October 11th, at Weekapaug Bait & Tackle... This is it for the 2003 Legs!

Right now Saltheart is leading the 4 Leg Tourney and needs to get knocked off the top spot (or can he knock himself off :D )

So, we need to make a list of who is going & what to bring:

Me - the usual Burgers & Dogs!

Yes - we'll have the Fall Leg at Weekapaug Bait & Tackle for the fall. Next year we'll probably split them up again and do one at each...

i'll be in the county. not sure of the specifics yet, as the old lady may be tagging along for the weekend. :(

As usual, if it doesn't rain during the week, ... I'll go! Tough work year. I need people to experiment my new marinated venision recipe:hee:

I'm there for the cookout at least. Wife running Ocean State Marathon on Sunday and I am serving as the Water Boy chasing her all over Providence............

i'll be there, always nice to see you guys & gals. will bring polish sausage, sardines and crackers and some other stuff to eat.:cool:

Found out Thursday I will be going to Mexico Oct 7. That means I won't be bettering my mark. Too bad , the last fall leg in RI is always a great time. Its usually beautiful out there that time of year.

Oct 10 , if that doesn't call you to a certain spot!!! :)

50-50 on this leg as I am taking twins to the Pats on Sunday. And we all know that is an all day affair. So I'll have to make the decision last minute. If not, make this leg a good cathing event!!!!

Hi...Hubby and I will be there...will bring paper plates and eating utensils and ???? something else I havent figured out yet!

Ben been working on the house. Hardly fishing at all. Trying to get done before deer season.

That spot is not as good in fall, have other spots :D ...

Can you think of a spot with a spotlight where a mullet type lure might work? :)

Depends on how things are shaping up down the Cape. If they are looking as good as this past weekend was, there ain't no way I'm goin to Rhody yet. Buttttt, it is gonna be awfully bright. Whether or not I go, ya'll welcome to use my barby as usual. It is still down at M&D's (I hope) from the last Mass Leg. Someone can swing by and pick it up if needed.

what the misses has to work so ya gonna back out... what the hell. maybe you should go back in the basement and build plugs for next year! come on man i need some snook and redfish plugs. for florida don't be a wee wee cause weaqee is the best!!!! just hope it's not too early.we're still 1 month behind maybe more!!!!!!!!

Yup and the Canal is doing pretty good right now and half the distance. I know the ditch real well and the outer cape fairly well. hard to justify driving 90 miles to fish where I have no idea where I am or where I am going by myself, fishing wise that is.

We wont be making it :( but were are going fishing out of plymouth!

Alot of Bitc... about driving to Rhody....BUT it's the same miles for us the other way!! It's supposed to be about a get-together--not being able to say " I got 5 keepers in one hour" etc..... :(

Ive done that on a whim! about two or three years ago I told my hubby at 6pm I had to go fishing just one more time before winter set in.......I said "you going or not"????? he said "serious"? I said "yeah" he said "have fun!" Of course I have also driven 500 miles round trip to fish for a day too....:eek: :rolleyes:

Striper77, if that was directed at me,:mad: I have fished RI twice in my life. Didn't have much luck either time. Nothing against the place but the fishing is still good here. And as far as posting how many keepahs:o I don't really believe in that either. I am more into quality than quantity. 90 miles is a long way or rather 180 round trip. And when ya try to ask some of the guys who fish down there often ya get the run around. :(Sorry not for me, I'll fish right here in MA. I know where to find the fish here, no secrets.

I'll be down there that weekend. I'm getting down sat. night most likely 6 or 7. I"m staying at pt one resort off of atlantic ave.

I don't think I've met many from this board, but I need all the help I can get. I've never fished that area and am totally clueless. Although steve in mass has been more than generous :D Read the weekly mag last night and it couldn't have been much more positive than that.

Anyway--are there time for the bbq or spots where guys are gonna meet up.

My fiance will be with me.
