the speaker for the november meeting will be dave manzi of so.yarmouth. dave has been guiding and commerciall fishing for stripers from the beach for 15 years. he is going to describe his fishing technique and show us some of his most productive lures.

I had 3 of his plugs in ma cleanin bucket, but he found them. only 1 din't go home with him, he was grumpin somethin about a blue an silver danny.......he went home with a set o cross pens an a new hat............god he like's ta babble,,on an on an on...he did well considerin he was standin in the middle of a bone yard. lots of interest from the group. he could have sold half his plugs an still went home with a 100 of them.:rolleyes:

He is the first stand up surfcasting comedian I have ever seen live and in person. It was comedy and the crowd loved it. He did good. He is very suspicious of the crowd when he was displaying his plugs though. He acted like someone had abducted one of his kids when he thought one was missing. There were two unsavory characters hovering around at the end though that might have been a problem. One I think was the cleaning guy, he had a bucket of cleaning stuff and the other looked like a woodworker and smelled like lacquer finsh and sawdust. Very unsavory indeed. I know I have seen these guys in Chatham or maybe it was Middleboro........ Hmmm.....

its not about selling plugs , i am my own worst enemy.
yea i guess I could have sold them But I love My children.
rather spread the faith of lures and help some one out building confidence.
so I guess its about learning stuff.

Capesams and Slip tried thier best but to no avail. I think Dave has them barcoded, either that he puts in those little silicon chips like you my dog has so they can be scanned and his address comes up.
