Don't know if this qualifies as a movie, but Band Of Brothers is by far the best I've seen.
Second is Saving Private Ryan. The first 15 minutes alone of the D-Day landing are more realistic than any war movie before.

Best "Teen" war movie (when I was a teen) - Red Dawn

I don't know that I ever saw a war movie I didn't like, except maybe Castle Keep, that was weird. I especially like 'em WWII era, in black and white or early color with actual footage put in, like in Midway and some of the others. The Fighting Sullivans is one I like to look for, also 12 O'Clock high (maybe my all time favorite).

DId anyone mention "A thin red line"?
I'm not sure if I liked that movie or not. I think I may have missed the point. Did anyone else see this?
