chubsdad 03-28-2004 09:19 AM

GBOUTDOORS 03-28-2004 09:21 AM

Good show!! Looked like a S B get together:D Don what a great idea and a great job on the cases to show of the unbelievable work of the plug makers here. No need to look anywhere else those are the best of the best custom plugs!!!!!!!!!!! Hats off to all those that gave up one or more of their babies for display for all us none plug makers to see.

Backbeach Jake 03-28-2004 09:41 AM

It was great to see everyone, from Bigfish's list I missed a few, Shoot I was lookin',too. What a great day, thanks everyone.

Mr. Sandman 03-28-2004 10:34 AM

It was fun to see all you guys again. I picked up some great stuff and got a few good tips. Some of those plugs are to die for. That american flag plug looks like a paint job you'd see on a corvette not a fishing lure...amazing.

I have to say that skishing fellow is intersting but I think I am a little to old or a little to smart to ever do that in those kinds of places. IMO, There is just too much that can go wrong. I think I will keep my feet on shore or on a boat(with my pfd on). Prediction: We read about someone having who dies while skishing in the next 2 years. I will give him credit though...its extreme.

I took off around 1:30 to go for a boat ride...
:D at oyster harbor marine in osterville on the cape. It was regulator day and they had all the models both in and out of the water...26FS...I am saving my change... It was great to step on boat that was actually floating. The new Yamaha 4 strokes are almost inaudable at idle...really amazingly quiet.

Karl F 03-28-2004 12:10 PM

always enjoy the show, and seeing people.. BBJ, I missed ya!
thought i saw everybody, kept my eyes open, but sure some got lost in the crowd. I won't even try to list, I'd miss too many...

yea flap, those were a little high  I saw some things bought, that I couldn't believe anyone would part with $ for, but, hey, each to his own, I guess.....

capesams 03-28-2004 02:19 PM

I had a GREAT time.....dang those gibbs fish carvin's were nice:(

chris L 03-28-2004 03:29 PM

where was the show ?

quick decision 03-28-2004 03:44 PM

good time

It was nice to put some faces on these names I've been staring at all winter. My dad and myself had a great time.

Saltheart 03-28-2004 05:49 PM

We only stayed until 1:30 Sat but did see a lot of friends. Would like to have gone again on Sunday to help out at Johns table but had too much going on today. Smokey and I had a lot of fun. Saw the nicest 2-5 oz 10 foot canal rod blank I've ever seen as well as a great 1-4oz 11 foot rod blank. Both by Ziplex. definitely going to build myself a new rod on that 10 foot blank for ditch jigging this season. really awesome. Will be posting more on that later.

Slipknot 03-28-2004 06:33 PM

It was a good time. I saw many familiar faces and met a few new ones too. It was good to get psyched up for the upcoming season listening to the speakers. Crazy Al has me thinking of going up in line size for my braid, I really want to target some bigger fish this year.
There was so much striped bass stuff in one room, I can't believe bassmaster didn't have a stroke;)

good luck to the raffle entrants for all the raffles.

Goose 03-28-2004 07:33 PM

I enjoyed the show this year especialy the presentations. You can tell by the tone in their voices that they are passionate in what they do and have proven they practice what they preach.
Good to see and meet some new s-b heads.
Think Cows!:uhuh:

Squid kids Dad 03-28-2004 07:48 PM

You can tell Bigfish is a Dad in that picture,,,Mopping up after a kid..Good job Bigfish...:)

BobT 03-28-2004 07:52 PM

Slip....that sure was a pretty box of custom plugs you was a holding !!! Tried to see more but you closed the lid. Guess you knew BM was a coming. He must have left both days with a load of ho'd plugs.

Slipknot 03-28-2004 08:29 PM
