OK - interesting contest for June

I want to see the best picture of someone wearing / using Aquaskinz products during the month of June. Winner, voted by you guys, will get 2 CUSTOM plugs from my private stash :) ...

This has nothing to do with the Aquaskinz guys and is not a promotion, they're seeing this for the first time too :hihi: - just something I want to do to help recognizw a great product...

(Aquaskinz "Pro Staff" are not elidgeble unless they get a Fifty :laughs: - even it up for the rest of us :laughs: )

BasicPatrick 06-08-2004 08:07 PM

John,

I will throw in a Bubble Gum Mambo Minnow to the prize also. I will give it to ya this weekend.

TheSpecialist 06-08-2004 08:13 PM

There are a bunch of places, including some of our sponsors like Joe @ Surfcasting-rhodeisland.com and thesaltwateredge. But you can check the aquaskinz site too...

macojoe 06-09-2004 01:32 AM

I am scared to get them!! I would look like a endangered right whale!! :laughs:
What size do they come in?? By what you guys say I would need like a 5X!! I take 3X most of the time.

MAC 06-09-2004 04:08 AM

Joe, the evo2 runs true to size. Last years evo ran small and needed to be worn 1 size larger. I normally wear a 2x but bought a 3x evo last year and love it. Had mine on last saturday and was taking some waves over my head at Pt Jude and stayed dry as a bone. Awesome product.

tlapinski 06-09-2004 06:47 AM

too bad i already showed that pic of the river fish in may. :smash:

schoolie monster 06-09-2004 08:43 AM

Isn't this a little bit prejudice against those of us who don't have aquaskinz? I'm going to contact the pc police... I'm offended.

chris L 06-09-2004 08:48 AM

ME TOO !!!

would someone let me borrow their evo2 for a weekend of picture taking he he he . I can do better action moves than the GI Joe action figure .

Crafty Angler 06-16-2004 06:04 PM

Nice fish - on a Newell Guy no less :claps:

Mr. Sandman 06-23-2004 10:07 AM

As much as I like the aquaskinz products...I think that emblem size is a little over the top. "look at me I have an aquskinz" I prefer a low profile and I actaully am a little embarassed if someone sees me in this thing. I tried to peel mine off and it is fused on pretty good. I may result to a black marker to hide it somewhat. I don't like being a bill board. good product though.
Has anyone been able to remove it without damagind the fabric?

Gloucester2 06-23-2004 03:01 PM

Eben - nice Flock of Seagulls haircut :D

Nice fishy too

MAC 06-26-2004 06:00 PM

- I can see the jacket but I don't see a fish :hihi:

First I need to add this - earlier this month when we were fishing the RISSA tourney I was at a clump of rocks in So Co with "Pro Staff" member Basic Patrick 25 feet to my right. This somewhat larger swell comes in, picks him up, and when he goes down, he can't find his footing, so in this brighter moon night, Patrick is underwater, flailing around with just his hands and rod poking out of the surfcace. Looked like a cross between a "Gray Seal" churning up the water surface and a school of 20# blues chomping on big bunker :laughs: - wish I had a camera, might have entered a picture too :D ...

So, back to the contest, so far we have 2 pictures in for the month of June - SteveK and Eben. People have until midnight tonight to e-mail me a pic or post an attachment with a fish -n- skins. Tomorrow we'll take a 2 day vote for the winner!

Thanks & good luck!

 well i gotta be honest, the fish was caught about an hour before that shot was taken... when we took the picture I just grabbed my rod and held it next to me, not thinking that the lure that I was using at the time was going to be associated with the fish I was holding:smash:

Gotta tell you though, the chicken scratch pikie has caught alot of fish for me!
last monday I lost the plug on a monster fish off clammer's boat... probably a larger fish than in the above photo :( i'll miss that little pikie:smash:

cheferson 07-05-2004 07:09 PM
