Mike P 06-14-2004 02:37 PM

If the first one is 44", it's mid to high 30s. Looks like a friggen' king salmon with that gut.

Hmmmm, east facing sand beach, with wave action.....;)

jsullivan 06-14-2004 02:45 PM

Congrats - those are a pair of beauties.

Mike P 06-14-2004 07:39 PM

48" on the second? At least high 30s.

And the way you're holding it, I don't think I'd ever want to arm wrestle you for beers :D

S-Journey 06-14-2004 11:04 PM

How bout spot guesses?

I would say somewhere on the south shore of Mass by the placement of the sun and your Sox hat.

Don't be an ass - you put up 2 grainy pics asking for weights and you're giving me crap? Thank about it before being a jackass about it.

First pick looks like a 41 inch fish, chunky, with the camera 15 feet away.

I didn't put a weight on the 2nd one because it looked like you did the old extend your arm bit trick and distrorts the guessability factor

jsullivan 06-15-2004 10:05 AM

JON

YOUR WAY TOO SERIOUS MAN... REALLY god, only playing I love to make a joke you gotta roll with it EVERYTHING IS ALL IN FUN NOTHING IN LIFE IS SERIOUS AND IF IT IS IT WILL PASS!!!

those 2 from today are 48" and 50" in that order

JohnR 06-15-2004 10:59 AM

We'll disagree again - some things in life are serious (though slinging crap on the internet isn't)...

In the legendary words of every 4 year old in the world - "He started it" :laughs:

Lighten up Francis...

jsullivan 06-15-2004 11:10 AM

NICE

NOW UR TALKIN ALTHOUGH.. I HATE SERIOUS.. I am a 30 yo 4 year old...AS LONG AS I'M BREATHIN I'M FISHIN AND AS LONG AS I'M FISHIN I'M HAPPY. AND I DONT SLING CRAP I JUST MAKE JOKES AND SOME OF THEM ARE PRETTY CRAPPY.:laughs: :laughs: :laughs:
heres a no joke that if someone doesnt like me they will enjoy my gear got stolen a few wks back and I thought auto ins would cover it NOPE ... 10' st croix 7' st croix w/ fin nors :af: they were obvious morons cuz my conv. gear was still there.

JohnR 06-15-2004 11:26 AM

Then start up a thread on where it was stolen, better description, etc...

Doesn't happen often but sometimes things do show up...

Rappin Mikey 06-15-2004 12:25 PM

Man, a bunch o stuff got nabbed from us guys this Spring. I'm thinking about becoming a vigilante. I have a plzan. I'm thinkin bout leaving my doors unlocked, with rods on the top in a parking lot. Hide up in the dunes and wait for the next poor son of a "____" that decides they want some of my stuff via the 5 finger discount. Then bang! unleash the fury of 1000 hurricanes upon them. Infact, that could be my secret, vigilante, super hero name. The Furious Hurricane!

Slingah 06-15-2004 05:40 PM

should not show disrespect to a man in his own house:o
so you got a few nice fish.....that's excellent....how much did they weigh?????
too bad about your stuff gettin lifted, hope you find the scum
are those all your big fish???

TheSpecialist 06-15-2004 06:00 PM

Mr Sullivan, did the ins co. say why they would'nt cover it?

Just curious, I know I would be mad..

Squid kids Dad 06-15-2004 09:29 PM

Auto insurance doesnt cover items in the auto that dont pertain to the auto...Those items such as rods, reels,cd's ect are only covered if you have homeowners or apartment insurance..A deductible would apply also:(

jsullivan 06-16-2004 06:10 AM

missin' stuff

specialist yes they say that its not covered it was in the back of my truck. when I think of all of the stuff I've given to people who are starting up old gear it's really a bummer
