A few just off the drying rack. Top one is 1.3 oz, AYC, thru-wired. Wobble with some roll on top at a slow retrieve. Next two are Hahn clones. Red Cedar, thru-wired, 1.4 oz. Used a deep cup colorado blade on one, pikie lip on the other. Thanks to the kind gent who loaned the original Hahn :kewl: Bottom two are 1.9 oz, AYC and thru-wired. More of a wiggle on top with a little roll to them. Will also dig a foot or so on a faster retrieve.

Nice darters, really like the jointed one:claps:

NIB 07-12-2004 08:49 PM

That looks like a jointed version of the Musso 3 oz.variety.perhaps when he worked with Danny.Very Nice.I wonder what that does in the water.dart an wiggle i bet more wiggle than dart.

Tattoo 07-13-2004 04:50 AM

NIB, your right. It's a Musso.

NIB 07-13-2004 05:04 AM

What made me say maybe when he worked wit Danny is the eye sticker.I have Musso's witout the sticker.I know From a few people they worked together for a stint.one was methodical the other just kinda did everthing by eye. Both great plug builders.

Nice Guzz! Very nice. The last picture with the green plug over the purple one. Could you post a pic of the front of that green one with the metal faceplate/lip? Man, that thing is way cool! Thanks in advance , Flap.

thanks for the kind words guys.always good to hear those kind of things from experienced plug builders.thank you.

sorry for the losuy quality of the pic.i can't seem to take clear close ups for some reason.but it should give you a decent view of the face plate.that plug is a proto.i originally was shooting for a metal lipped darter.but i ended up with something that falls between a swimmer, and a darter.at slower speeds,it has a moderate rear wiggle, and will wander slightly every few cranks.when reeled fast,or when put in a rip,it has a fast, tight wiggle and every so oftern kicks out to the side like a darter.it definitely doesn't take a predictable path on the retrieve.the one in the pic is a slow sinker.now if i can just duplicate that action in any size plug i want,i'll be be happy.it seems to have potenial though.that plug, along with a couple others will be in jigman's hands by mid week.he fixed me up with some pencils about a month back that did alot of damge:) so he'll be the one puting that one through the paces till i get a few more made up.
