Ebbie Van Hog Sighting

I have at on good authority that there was and Ebbie van Hog sighting this morning at "another burned spot" with several keepers.

You gonna burn them all as the season goes on?

spence 04-29-2005 01:14 PM

I was told he was surfing that day. So it was a ninety pound stripa huh. What a guy. Did he install a removable grip deck?

just for the record, the report in the fisherman was bogus and it wasnt from my end.. I never told the poeple at the tackeshop that I caught the fish at the location that they reported and I also didnt catch that fish on Plastic. It was caught on my own wood. What I did tell them was I caught it in the a local salt pond long with another that was 13 pounds. They tried to second guess me or something. If you read the Projo, wildwood mentioned that 13-22 pound fish were being caught in PJ saltpond... That is what i told them.
Oceanhouse marina posted my info becaues my wife sent an e-mail to her friend with the picture of me and my son and the bass thinking that she and her husband woudl enjoy it because they are fisherpeople.. she asked my wife if that was recent and my wife told her it was. Her husband works for oceanhouse marina and somehow he felt the need to report that to the paper without my permission and made up a spot. I havent even fished that location yet.... soon, but not yet.

jheesus christo, had i known that this would cause so much of a fuss i would have simply let the fish go and kept my yapper shut...

from now on i aint sayin nuttin. :faga:

Now everyone shut up and fish dammit.

A lessoned learned.Unless u wanna be a internet hero an cry when everyone is stalkin ur vehicle or like fishin in big crowds.both of which I don't need.take the fish for what its worth an go home there are no newspaper articles or tackle shops wit any nib fish pic's hangin from the walls.i got enough trouble wit the few guys i know standing in my footprints when I'm not around.this spring is gonna be alot of fun all because I invited someone I thought I could trust to do the right thing in one of my sweet honey holes.this yr.there will be some guys blowin bubbbles if it keeps up.we all learn the hard way.

spence 04-30-2005 07:37 PM

This is exactly the reason why I concentrate on not catching fish. What a freakin hassle

I agree with you 100%- mums the word.
