So what is everyones Plan for the LONG Winter.........................

Get back into martial arts so I'm not a lazy SOB anymore.

Build some plugs.

Dream of spring :humpty:

Drink some beer :buds: , watch football, and save a little $$$ for a VS 250 and the winter shows. Also have high hopes of scoring some Ryan Smith swimmers.

I may also try and make a few poppers this fall. It will be my first attempt at making plugs.

Also, looking forward to hanging out with my girlfriend and her 3 year old nephew.

Gonna give surf cod a shot too.

Play hockey and drink....

I have just about all the tools i need to start really digging in to plug Building......Still need a belt sander though. Going to hide away in Man Town and make a big stockpile for next year.

Going up to maine w/ my Brother-in-laws and uncle to do some smelt fishing after the holidays.

Spend some time with my son and help him work on some of his scout stuff.
Spend some time with my Daughter...I promised to take her to a show and out to dinner.

Have to restock the cookie jar w/ the wife for next season so a few nights of quality time are in order.

A few Card games at the house are also in order.

I am going to GPS some new forgotten, obscure shoreline spots. Mid-Winter is a good time to crawl the rocks for next year. Make plugs and sleep. My old deceased partner, Gil Guilletone use to say "sleep in December". So I will....late December.

Finish reconstructing the deck. Finish sidewalling around new windows, dooors, paint three rooms inside of house, stack wood, make mucho flies and teasers, collect more pluggage, which is probably the most important item on my list. Move around a couple of dormant evergreens. Just for starters.

Way too much on my list, but none of it is really too bad.

I'm supposed to build a tv armoire, and I need to finish some interior work patching holes and painting from when I replaced the windows this summer. I also need to replace a shower control, not sure how bad that will be. I'm also going to lay some more plywood up in the attic so we have some more storage.

Before it gets too cold outside I want to clear and level an area for a shed that I want to start building in the spring.

On the fun list, I'm going to wrap a couple of rods, and I'll be playing with a new lathe and airbrush all winter :bounce:

Catch up on work around the house so it's done by May

Make a trip to M&D's for reel repair and new wireline . Also swap out hooks on bombers for new VMC's. Want to build a new 9 ft stick as well. Pray that I get an aquaskinz jacket for Christmas! :jump:

I just brought the ski's in for a tune up !! I got a trip already paid for to Vail and Breckenridge in January.

I will get on the Ice a few times, My friend just built a new shanty and is going to several Ice fishing seminars so he should have some good plans of attack (and I thought i had a problem)

Going to get some plugs built up, Duck Hunt and spend time with the new baby. In that order. MY wife doesn't write on this board does she?

Rehab my broken ankle so I can fish hard next spring. Get stocking foot waders so I can get good ankle support. Rig sluggos, swap out crummy hooks on my redfins and bombers with some good hooks. ( only good thing about ankle surgery was I got some hypo needles to load refins) Scout out some spots here in Connecticut. Get clients with houses in no access areas to give me access. Convince little old lady I know to let me use her house in Menemsha some time in June. Find braid that I like. walk. Go to CSA meetings
