Mine is Led Zeppelin then Pink Floyd

JohnR 12-26-2005 08:58 PM

Floyd

in a distant second would be Springsteen

spence 12-26-2005 09:08 PM

Rush, and second would be Rush.

There are too many thirds to mention.

" Who " plus many others, like Police, U2, Floyd, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, unfair question, like asking what is your favorite plug.

Pink Floyd, Who, Genises for British Rock

Lynerd Skynerd - Domestic Rock.

By the way for you Floyd and Who fans - I received the "Live 8" DVD concert discs for Christmas. Disc 3 has footage of the Who and Floyd back to back. Any concert footage of Floyd is very rare so this disc is really precious - these guys are pushing 60 and they still have it - got back together just for this concert. Probably never again.
The Who's Daltrey and Townshend also put on a great show. DVD is well worth it.

When I was 18 (back in '71) my buddy "big Al" worked for Don Law as a security man at the old Gardens. I drove in there (he told me he would get me in for free).. Well. he did...early... Saw them "warm up" before the show. They played Thick as a Brick, complete, front row center, no one else... thanks for reminding me, hadn't thought of that for awhile
