Since my new job doesn't afford any vacation this year, I took today and Wed. without pay. It's kinda slow at the shop and the boss didn't mind.

I took the day off today but unfortunately am on hold on the phone right now trying to take care of some much needed business.:splat:

I've worked 2 weeks straight, landscaping.. Finally got a mini vacation, no work till wednesday :wavey:

At work today and the place is a ghost town. Just my company's way of having most people burn some vacation time. The funny thing is - we have a lot of European and Asian offices and they seem to have no trouble taking a weekday holiday on a Tuesday or Thursday and sandwiching in another day. Is that was is called a 'banking holiday'?

ok so here is a related question.... what do you do to make the time go faster on a day like today..

me personally its dangerous because I look at things I can buy :)

Yup, I'm at work. I was going to take the day off, but then my boss said he was going to be out, so I figured why waste a vacation day.
