Starting this one a little early - going to Cuttyhunk :btu:

If anyone REALLY needs to get in touch I will be at the Cuttyhunk Fishing Club (cell service practically nonexistant)...

So what's up for the weekend? I'm looking forward to great fishing and great commaraderie....

Jeez, my phone was ringing too much there last time......wish I could leave it at home.

Trying to clear the decks now to pack for the invasion of Cuttyhunk...

Gonna fish Wood River for some trout. Giving up on this Striper thing:uhuh: :uhuh:

I'm feeling a little under the weather, canceled on a bunch of friends coming down to chatham for the weekend. I think I'll just go down with my girl, and if I feel up to it, go fishing off monomoy. Otherwise, its soup and movies for me.

I was out last Friday, the day before the big blow, many bluefish, no bonito and some sub-legal bass. Saturday and Sunday were blown out, big seas, too big for the boat, and I was beat from the ride on Friday so no shore fishing either.

I can't wait to get out tommorow as I have not been out on my boat in a whole two weeks, but more importantly, I have not been out to fish my most cherished shorelines, that is in and around where many are heading to this weekend. The weather should be nice and as usual, I can't wait to get out tommorow. Gas up, make sure all my reels have nice fresh line, maybe get some of the pencil poppers that have been discussed lately and maybe some hairball jigs for some deepwater jigging. Setting up the minnow traps so I'll have bait for either some live lining of snappers or scup and do some livelining in the daylight or plugging the shorelines.

Hoping RR can show me my first tuna :)

Trolling tuna in the Providence River... with the recent rain and water levels I figure BROWN floating squid spreader bars should produce the best...

After healing up from last night... hopefully getting in some fishing.

I just got home from some epic striper blitz fishing, and now I have to hit the bank, food store, and pack cloths, then heading to Cuttyhunk till Sunday, Sunday night pack for 5 days down the Cape/ Race Point Light House. then back on Friday night. Super long weekend. I will probably head to PI for 2 nights on the 17th.

Finally get to head out again.. Its been over two weeks, so the wife is giving me a repreive on Friday night from infant duties....

I am accepting any and all suggestions on where to head.. Im thinking bayside at the moment.

Working the Sterling Fair Friday and Saturday. Then depending on how bad NOAA blows it, I may be sick(giggle giggle)! With any luck I'll be at Crab Ledge with Keeperreaper.

Just got man needs taken care of, so cleared to fish.
Saturday morn I am going to drive 6 miles down the street to east beach, don my wet suit and a life jacket, blow up by little boat, put a case of beer in it and swim over to meet everyone over at Cutty. With the moon, gonna call for my infamous "Plan B". Sunday, swim home. There has got to be fish between here and there.

Cutty snobs. I'll be just fishing the Cape again. Good luck, I have a good feeling about this weekend for you guys. I can't wait to hear the stories. I think I'm rooting for Slip to catch the biggest fish though. Don't forget the batteries cuz I want to see some pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tuna fishing Sat and tuna fishing sunday with Uncle Matt. Hopefully get into 'em hot and heavy.

fish sat and sun mornings, trim feshly finished basement and then block party sunday to screw my Pats watching, woo hoo!

mother-in-law is coming friday for 4 day's :crying: god help me.

Fish friday , hopefully lazy Saturday and Sunday....hopefully

Fri. - Practice and setup my casting gear for tonight with eels and chunks on R.I. South shore (Greenhill Beach Area?)

Sat.- Same, mid-day lawn mowing (night - Matunuck Beach Area?)

Sunday- Sleep in late, Club party at noonish, maybe the Kayak by the East wall at night with fly, plugs(?)

Monday- Back on 2nd shift (3:00-1:00 am) may fish the brokenback on the way home depending on how the storm materializes.
YAHOO! 2nd shift, just in time for the fall migration! Gonna be a great season after all.

Seeing that my boat is in the shop (clogged fuel injectors :af:), I've been fishing the canal alot, so;


Fri Night - Son's soccer game

Sat Morning - Canal

Sun Monring - Canal

Sun Afternoon - Birthday party for my two boys, ages 3 & 7. And watching Pats kick some a$$

Fished hard Tuesday and Wednesday last week, nada!
Trying to fight off this crazy respitory-nasal infection-pinkeye curse that I've had for almost three weeks.
It was almost gone when I decided to go to RP.
Should've stayed home.
