Is this a problem......?

Last, while taking a shot break from the lathe it came upon me to count all the plugs I have hanging in the cellar devoted and built for taking Striped Bass. There are 1,154.

What on God's green earth does someone need with 1154 striper plugs?

I am a sick individual.:spin:

Repeat after me, "My name is Steve and I am a plugaholic"

now start your 12 step program by handing over your stash to ME:bgi:

Mugz 12-15-2006 02:17 PM

You could build a house with all those plugs.:hee:

Slipknot 12-15-2006 02:18 PM

you have twice as many as me Steve, but I have not been plugging half the time you have so I think I have a serious problem too. Atleast you have accepted and realized your problem. gimme your extras :vamp:

eastendlu 12-15-2006 02:25 PM

Thats all !!You need more :rotf2:

Karl F 12-15-2006 02:28 PM

That count was higher a year or two ago ;)...

I can take 10% of those off your hands, you won't miss 'em, and they will go to a great cause :D

The Dad Fisherman 12-15-2006 02:29 PM

No wonder there's an AYC shortage.....

luds 12-15-2006 02:36 PM

I have been fishing for 4 seasons and have between 200 and 300 plugs.:hang: That being said I would also be happy to take some of yours off your hands. I would also not mind seeing some pics.

I bought my 1st plug 2 years ago and I have over 125.....I'll be there someday.......Quicker if Flap wants to send me an early Xmas Present :hee:

Tis the season of giving

There was a wise old sea captain that once said; " I have just begun to fight" well he had 1200 plugs and was looking for more.

There is a lesson to be learned here. :hihi:

Pete F. 12-15-2006 04:04 PM

I wonder whether 1,154 jigs would last me a full season in the Canal  :poke:

Backbeach Jake 12-16-2006 03:35 PM

It's not bad enough that I can't get near a B&T without buying a couple, I had to start building them, too. I'd have as many as you, Steve, if I didn't spend so much time trying to plug with a conventional last year. I made Posiden very happy...:crying: Plugs cause mass-insanity.:bl2: BTW whattaya building?:heybaby:

Karl F 12-17-2006 09:29 AM

I'm a foot shorter than you Flap, and I'm d#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g, just looking at the pictures....
you must kneel in front of your lathe ;)
them plugs gonna get dusty!

if this weather don't change, you will be looking for herring soon, instead of ice fishing...

Tagger 12-17-2006 09:49 AM

WOW PISSA ..... Did you make that skin plug with the chain on the tray .. very interresting,,,bet it moves well .. I saw the predator section ..got wood predator ? I'd keep the sign .. I'd call it my swearing sign . every shop should have one .. When you hit your thumb with a hammer just turn and start swearing at the sign . You F$%#ng,C(&%$%^,B$%^$# MF&$%@#$... makes you feel better.

Flaptail 12-17-2006 04:50 PM

Eddy I made all the plugs on the chair and that eelskin swimmer swims great and goes down about 6-8 feet. And no, no wooden predators except yours.

George and I went to Red Top and M&D's today for supplies and Gearge needed a new Hot Pot lead melter. My work is okay but nothing like you and the others here. Need large Danny lips to finish this weeks turnings. Got an idea for Plugfest and I am sketching out the paint scheme before actual paint application, this is gonna be cool.
